  • Patent number: 9714896
Abstract: A methodology and system determine properties of a sample substance, such as a liquid/foam used to control sweep homogeneity problems in an earth formation. The methodology and system utilize a core of formation simulation material placed in a container. An injection system is coupled to the container and enables placement of both the sample substance and an injection fluid into the container. The injection fluid is injected under pressure and moves the sample substance through the core. A data acquisition system is employed to measure parameters such as pressure differentials along the core as the sample substance propagates through the formation simulation material. The pressure differentials may be evaluated over time by the data acquisition system to determine fluid breakthrough properties of the sample substance.

  • Publication number: 20170045476
Abstract: The current application discloses methods and systems to analyze on-site and in real-time or quasi real-time the composition of the well fluid before or during use or disposition. The method is based on capillary electrophoresis (CE) and does not require the addition of tracers into the well fluid or additive. Based on the significance of each additive on the well fluid properties, it can be decided to determine the concentration of all additives or only one or a limited number of the additives present in the fluid, and the concentrations can be adjusted as needed to reach the desired target concentration(s).

  • Patent number: 9058352
Abstract: A system generates a request for quotation for a healthcare information system function using a stored template quotation format and multiple different quotation related data fields associated with multiple different healthcare information system elements. A search engine receives user entered text data associated with a desired healthcare information system element and searches stored information to identify multiple different quotation related data fields associated with a healthcare information system element in response to the entered text data. A quotation generator generates a display image showing items representing the identified multiple different quotation related data fields enabling a user to populate a template executable application image window with one or more of the identified data fields and initiate obtaining a quotation for providing the image window.
