An electronic diagnostic device retained and secured in the boot inflates the bladder upon activation to urge the bladder for engagement against the horse. The bladder transmits a signal via a pulse transmission tube to the electronic device. The boot is constructed of latex-free, breathable, lightweight, washable material which allows for safe, long-wearing of the boot.
