  • Patent number: 11987590
Abstract: The invention features compounds (e.g., macrocyclic compounds) capable of modulating biological processes, for example through binding to a presenter protein (e.g., a member of the FKBP family, a member of the cyclophilin family, or PIN1) and a target protein such as CEP250. These compounds bind endogenous intracellular presenter proteins, such as the FKBPs or cyclophilins, and the resulting binary complexes selectively bind and modulate the activity of the target protein. Formation of a tripartite complex among the presenter protein, the compound, and the target protein is driven by both protein-compound and protein-protein interactions, and both are required for modulation of target protein activity.

  • Patent number: 11851219
Abstract: A mushroom packaging system 10 comprising a mushroom packaging apparatus 11 wherein empty containers 12 are at least partially filled with mushrooms 13. The system further comprises a mushroom loading apparatus 14 comprising a mushroom loading station 15 and a mushroom conveyor 16 for retaining and conveying mushrooms loaded thereon by an operator to the mushroom packaging apparatus 11. A container storage apparatus 50 is also provided which provides a container loading station 17 positioned such that an operator may load empty containers 12 thereinto. A container conveyance apparatus 22 conveys empty containers 12 from the container storage apparatus 50 to a packaged mushroom collection station 18 via the mushroom packaging apparatus 11. Packaged mushrooms 19 received at the packaged mushroom collection station 18 may be retrieved by the operator.

  • Patent number: 6777470
Abstract: The present invention provides additive packages for polyolefins The additive packages of the present invention comprise at least one non-phenolic antioxidant and a hindered amine light stabilizer. The additive packages may contain other additives as needed, and may optionally include an acid scavenger. Articles made from the resultant polymers, such as radiator surge tanks, exhibit enhanced stain and discoloration resistance upon exposure to high temperatures and harsh chemicals such as those experienced in “under the hood” spaces of modern automobiles.
