  • Patent number: 11416503
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for providing consumable collaboration insights related to a file in a collaboration environment. In one aspect, data associated with at least one of a file and collaborators of the file is mined. One or more collaboration events related to the file may be determined using the mined data. A summary of the one or more collaboration events related to the file may be generated. The summary of the one or more collaboration events may be sent to a client computing device for displaying a summarized view of the one or more collaboration events as a collaboration pane within the file.

  • Patent number: 10943059
Abstract: A mechanism and model by which to manage inadvertent edits of electronic content. The model determines the likelihood of whether a modification made to a document is intentional or was inadvertent and assist users in identifying these edits. The proposed devices and method can significantly improve workflow efficiency and allow users to feel more comfortable in the development and use of their electronic content, and/or reduce the possibility of other users causing accidental or unintentional errors in a document.

  • Publication number: 20200296510
Abstract: Sound devices such as hearing aids and headphones configured for intelligent information capturing are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a sound device is a hearing aid or a noise-canceling headphone. The sound device includes a microphone, a speaker, a processor, and a memory containing a set of sound models each corresponding to a known sound. Upon receiving a digital sound signal representing an ambient sound captured via the microphone, the sound device can determine whether the digital sound signal includes a signal profile that matches the sound signature of one of the sound models stored in the memory. In response to determining that the digital sound signal has a signal profile that matches the sound signature of one of the sound models, the sound device can output, via the speaker, an audio message to the user identifying the known sound while suppressing the captured ambient sound from the environment.

  • Publication number: 20190079946
Abstract: In example embodiments, a server stores, in one or more data repositories, a plurality of files that are accessible to a first user of a client device. The server computes, for each file in the plurality of files, a score representing a likelihood that the first user will access the file. The server determines that, for one or more files from the plurality of files, the score exceeds a threshold. The server caches the one or more files in a local cache memory of the client device in response to determining that the score exceeds the threshold.
