Abstract: A method for transferring a multimedia file from a user's mobile device to user equipment associated with another user is disclosed. The method includes sending an invitation from the user's mobile device to the user equipment to request a transfer of the multimedia file. The method also includes setting up a bearer data channel between the user's mobile device and the equipment to facilitate the transferring of the multimedia file, the transferring is configured to be accomplished using Message Sessions Relay Protocol (MRSP) or Real-Time Transfer Protocol (RTP). The method further includes transferring the multimedia file using the MSRP or RTP and the bearer data channel.

Abstract: A computer system includes a computer processor and logic instructions for rapid integration of data storage subsystems. An adapter factory is instantiated in response to a request from a client computer. The adapter factory is configured to provide a generic persistent data storage (Pds) adapter interface to the client computer. The Pds adapter interface interfaces to a specific adapter. The Pds adapter interface is configured to invoke corresponding data source operations in the specific adapter. A generic Pds data source interface is configured between the specific adapter and a specific data source.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for a database are provided. One database embodiment includes a set of executable instructions operable on the database. One or more database partitions are provided, each having a defined key range. The set of executable instructions is operable to reverse octets in variable length keys. A last digit in an odd-length key value, plus a pad, is placed in a dedicated octet to partition the variable length keys in the one or more database partitions.
