  • Patent number: 6364364
Abstract: A combination shipping label and packing slip/label form which comprises a first ply having a top surface and a bottom surface, and a second release liner ply detachably secured to the bottom surface of the first ply. The first ply comprises a detachable shipping label and a corresponding packing slip. The packing slip is detachably secured to the combination shipping label and packing slip form by a substantial die cut through the first ply and the second release liner ply. The packing slip comprises a border section and a bill of materials section separated by a perforation that perforates the first ply and the second release liner ply. The bottom surface of the border section is coated with an adhesive.

  • Patent number: 6133195
Abstract: A shipping facilitating business form allows an outgoing address label to be imaged at the same time that a record copy is being imaged, and has both outgoing address label and a tracking label on the same form, and further includes two record copies after the labels are removed. A first paper ply cooperates with a second, composite, ply having a first sheet element and a second release liner underlying the first element, the second ply having a portion extending past the first ply. Pressure sensitive adhesive is provided between the first and second elements, and the extension portion of the second ply comprises tracking labels typically with bar code indicia. Using CF, CB, CF--B and/or self-contained techniques, image transfer is provided between the first ply, to a label portion of the first element, and to the release liner underlying the first element, so that when the label--with variable address indicia imaged on it--is removed both the top ply and second element provide record sheets.

  • Patent number: 6096397
Abstract: A display assembly uses a particular point of purchase label construction associated with a point of purchase display construction associated with a displayed item for purchase that does not take up valuable area that is covered by price stickers, or the like, and in a manner that allows a retail establishment to save up to several hours a week in prominently displaying point of purchase messages. The label construction includes a label face stock having first and second faces, an opaque release liner stock also having first and second faces, the first face of the release liner ply having an adhesive release coating (such as silicon), and the second face of the release liner having first, point of purchase, indicia imaged thereon (such as "As Advertised"), and a pressure sensitive adhesive (preferably repositional) between the adhesive release coating the label face stock to releasably hold the plies together.

  • Patent number: 5984778
Abstract: A multi-ply business form includes at least a lower ply and an upper ply wherein the upper ply overlies only a portion of the lower ply, leaving a first portion of the lower ply exposed in adjacent relationship to the upper ply. The upper ply has a two part label thereon including a release layer on a relatively small part of the upper ply, and an adhesive label overlying the release layer. The release layer and the adhesive label have information impact printed thereon, while the exposed portion of the lower ply has information non-impact printed thereon. The upper ply is also temporarily adhesively secured to the lower ply along at least two edges of the upper ply.

  • Patent number: 5707082
Abstract: Colors (particularly colored stripes) and black and white indicia (such as bar coding and airport codes) are variably printed, preferably on direct thermal stock, using at least one direct thermal print head and a plurality of transfer thermal print heads, a plurality of differently colored wax ribbon strips (each strip preferably being a separate ribbon) associated with the transfer thermal print heads. A web or sheet of stock having a first, thermosensitive, surface is moved in the first direction, and while doing so variable black indicia is selectively applied to the first surface with the at least one direct thermal print head, while selectively moving one or more of the transfer thermal print heads into operative association with its associated colored wax ribbon so as to apply color from the ribbon onto the first surface of the web or sheet by thermal transfer.

  • Patent number: 5633071
Abstract: An intermediate and a mailer-type business form are provided in which at least about 50% of a sheet forming the intermediate is of label stock. Portions of the release liner of the label stock are removed to edge seal the intermediate into a mailer by folding it about one or more fold lines, and the outgoing and return address indicia are reverse printed on the release sheet in alignment with removable (e.g. die cut) portions of the paper sheet, the addresses being exposed upon removal of the die cut label stock paper sheet portion at the reverse printed address portions. Other labels may also be die cut from the label stock.
