  • Publication number: 20170180339
Abstract: Dynamic risk communication associated with a computer device may include automatically detecting one or more security risk factors for the computer device based on current context information associated with the computer device. Whether an attempt is being made via the computer device to manipulate the one or more risk factors in an attempt to reduce a security level of a computer-implemented authentication procedure may be determined. Responsive to determining that the attempt is being made to manipulate the one or more risk factors, a new challenge for additional identification may be communicated for presentation on a user interface device of the computer device while suppressing one or more security risk factors from being presented on the user interface device. Responsive to determining that an attempt is not being made to manipulate the one or more risk factors, the new challenge and one or more security risk factors may be communicated.

  • Patent number: 9483573
Abstract: In a method for generating an audio summary of a portion of an electronic document, a user input selecting a focus position within a rendered electronic document is received. The plurality of document elements included in the rendered electronic document is identified. A plurality of audio objects corresponding to the plurality of document elements is generated. An audio signal is generated. The audio signal includes a subset of the plurality of audio objects corresponding to a subset of the plurality of document elements contained within a predetermined range from the focus position. The audio signal indicates the spatial relation between the elements of the elements subset. The audio signal is rendered to the user.

  • Patent number: 9483143
Abstract: A method and system for providing viewing angle sensitive graphics on an electronic device which detects a user viewing a display of an electronic device. The display has a plurality of items displayed for selection by the user, and the display defines a sensitive area including one or more of the plurality of items. A viewing angle of the user is determined based on a facial recognition technique. The sensitive area is adjusted based on the viewing angle, which can include moving the viewing angle, or adjusting a selection by the user from a first item to a second item based on the viewing angle.

  • Publication number: 20160171804
Abstract: A device receives a first input for authenticating a user and determines the first input fails to authenticate the user. One or more errors are identified in the input which match a tremor pattern for the user and the one or more errors are corrected to generate a corrected input. The user is authenticated using the corrected input.

  • Publication number: 20160085921
Abstract: In an approach to configuring accessibility settings on an electronic device, a computer receives a first electronic data including at least one medical change made to an electronic medical record corresponding to a user. The computer determines at least one accessibility settings recommendation for an electronic device of the user. The computer receives a unique identifier of the user. The computer sends a second electronic data comprising the at least one accessibility settings recommendation to the electronic device of the user. The computer determines current accessibility settings of the electronic device. The computer calculates a difference between the current accessibility settings and the at least one accessibility settings recommendation. The computer determines whether the difference meets a target value. If the difference does not meet a target value, the computer configures the electronic device with the at least one accessibility settings recommendation.

  • Patent number: 9165478
Abstract: A method and system for use in a user system, for accessing information related to a physical document. An electronic copy of an existing physical document is identified and located. The electronic copy of the physical document is an exact replica of the physical document. One or more pages of the physical document are identified. A selected part of the physical document is identified using the position of points on the identified one or more pages of the physical document and in response, data related to the selected part of the physical document is retrieved from the electronic copy of the physical document. The retrieved data is presented visually to a visually impaired person or orally to a blind person on the user system, which enables the visually impaired person to see or hear, respectively, the retrieved data.
