  • Patent number: 11666794
Abstract: A weight-training vest assembly may include front and rear panels for receiving weighted inserts. First and second lateral cummerbund segments may connect the front and rear panels along a wearer's torso sides and respectively include a zippered pocket and/or a lapped-band pocket. The zippered pocket may include a zipper operable to block or unblock an aperture that permits access into an internal volume from outside the zippered pocket. The lapped-band pocket may include a lower rim of a cover substrate lapped over an upper rim of a base substrate to define a fastener-less passage into an interior volume of the lapped-band pocket. Stretch woven fabric or other stretchable material may form the pockets, e.g., to maintain snugness despite user athletic training movements and/or to maintain the rims in overlapping engagement to retain items within the lapped-band pocket.

  • Patent number: 11645623
Abstract: A system automatically manages remote and local data through a declarative client that retrieves, tracks, and caches data in response to a transmission from an interface. The declarative client sits on an immutable image served by a secure private cloud platform. A serverless compute engine receives the immutable image and a plurality of tasks that process the immutable image in a container. An application programming interface in communication with the declarative client extracts data via queries from a database. The declarative client includes a normalized in-memory cache that breaks up results of the queries into individual objects that are each associated with a unique identifier and a unique name. The extracted data is deconstructed downloaded content in which original computer assigned links between data elements are intercepted and mapped to redirected computer-generated local links that locate the downloaded content in a local database.

  • Patent number: 11388978
Abstract: Modular bag system having one or more base bags and a plurality of attachable gear sets. In some configurations, a base bag or a gear set includes a pocket flap that easily moves from an external orientation to an internal orientation to permit access to the pocket. In some configurations, a bag has a strap arrangement that converts from a two-strap arrangement to a single-strap arrangement.

  • Patent number: 11243050
Abstract: A plate carrier (such as a vest) is provided having shock absorption capabilities for absorbing shock in response to movement of a plate within the carrier resulting from movement of the wearer. The plate carrier can include a cradle that supports the plate within a pocket from underneath. Stretchable material may be incorporated into the cradle to provide shock absorption. For example, the cradle may include a limit strap hanging to form a first loop and a shock-absorption strap hanging to form a second loop spaced above the first loop. The shock-absorption strap may be formed from a material more stretchable than the limit strap, for example, so that the limit strap provides a limit of plate deflection and shock absorption provided.

  • Patent number: 8821307
Abstract: A golf club head includes a primary component and a secondary component, wherein the secondary component is rotatably or pivotally associated with the rear surface of the primary component. The secondary component is adjustable between a first orientation and a second orientation relative to the primary component such that the golf club head has a first sole contour when the secondary component is in the first orientation and a second sole contour when the secondary component is in the second orientation, the first sole contour being different from the second sole contour.

  • Patent number: 6139438
Abstract: Artificial ice skating rink assemblies that can used indoors or outdoors, in all seasons, that can be readily assembled with a reduced number of assembly parts and accessories being required, and it can be used with reduced maintenance demands. In one embodiment of this invention, there is an artificial ice skating rink consisting of a plurality of panel means for providing an ice skating surface, in which each panel means has an elongate channel disposed therein having longitudinal and transverse axes. Elongate spline means are provided for slideable insertion into a channel in a lateral direction along the transverse axis of that channel, and for slideable receipt of another channel of another panel means which is forced in a lateral direction into slideable engagement with the spline. In this way, separate panel means are retained together exclusively by the spline means against relative motion along the transverse axes of their respective channels.
