Each of the at least one element corresponds to a mode of authentication of an electronic payment. The payment page is received by the computing device from a remote server. A computer processor in the computing device, which computer processor is coupled to the computer store and programmed to detect an initiation of the electronic payment on the computing device, the electronic payment comprising payment from an account at a financial institution. The computer processor is programmed to obtain the payment page from the computer memory.

Abstract: In one aspect, computerized method for determining a maximum daily limit for a merchant on a settlement includes the step of, with an early settlement capping module operating in a server. The method includes the step of deciding a maximum lending limit. The maximum lending limit is used for a setup of a payment gateway with a surplus amount that a nodal account utilizes for providing a lending service to a set of merchants. The method includes the step of analyzing the impact of a set of alternative factors that are used as a cap value for the maximum lending limit. The cap value comprises an upper limit put to a daily settlement done to a merchant in the set of merchants in order to prevent risk and optimally lend float. The method includes the step of, based on the cap value, implementing a lending operation through the lending service to the set of merchants.

Abstract: Facilitating authentication includes providing a first page to a user interface based on an order received from a merchant page. Payment details are received from the first page for a first level of authentication and a second page is provided to the user interface for a second level of authentication. The second page is provided while keeping the first page open in the user interface with the payment details populated therein. A transaction result status is received from a payment-processing infrastructure based on the first and second level of authentication. When the transaction result status indicates failure, a modified first page is created to include the payment details previously populated for an online payment and at least one of a retry button and a field indicating a reason for transaction failure.
