  • Publication number: 20170033974
Abstract: A fault isolation system asynchronously builds a fault domain graph to identify fault domains to isolate a root cause of a problem in a computer network. Basically, when the fault isolation system receives a notification that an entity of the network is unreachable (i.e., in a down status), the fault isolation system requests neighbor lists and statuses for the neighbors to asynchronously build a fault domain graph. From that topology, the fault isolation system determines a root cause of the problem with the network.

  • Publication number: 20170034100
Abstract: Technologies are described related to third party email signature generation and authentication. A DKIM signature may be stamped in a way such that the “From” address is encoded in the selector. The domain may be extracted from the DKIM signature based upon being from a known sender in the d= field, which signs on behalf of another domain. The reconstructed domain may be aligned from the selector against the actual domain in the “From” address to pass DMARC.

  • Publication number: 20160371269
Abstract: An efficient large scale search system for video and multi-media content using a distributed database and search, and tiered search servers is described. Selected content is stored at the distributed local database and tier1 search server(s). Content matching frequent queries, and frequent unidentified queries are cached at various levels in the search system. Content is classified using feature descriptors and geographical aspects, at feature level and in time segments. Queries not identified at clients and tier1 search server(s) are queried against tier2 or lower search server(s). Search servers use classification and geographical partitioning to reduce search cost. Methods for content tracking and local content searching are executed on clients. The client performs local search, monitoring and/or tracking of the query content with the reference content and local search with a database of reference fingerprints.

  • Publication number: 20160364389
Abstract: Techniques for efficient database formation and search in applications embedded in a media device are provided. The search may be performed synchronously with presentation of media programming content on a nearby media presentation device. A mobile media device captures some temporal fragments of the presented audio/video content on its microphone and camera, and then generates query fingerprints for the captured fragment. A local reference database resides on the mobile media device and a master reference database resides on a remote server with a most recent chunk of reference fingerprints transferred dynamically to the local mobile media device. A chunk of the query fingerprints generated locally on the mobile media device are searched on the local reference database for continuous content search and identification. The method presented automatically switches between the local search on the mobile media device and a remote search on an external search server.

  • Publication number: 20160357884
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for evaluating performance of a finite or infinite antenna array including a finite number of antennas. Typically, a model is generated for the antenna array, the model including an arbitrarily large antenna array with an arbitrarily large number of model antennas. Each model antenna has features defined by features of antennas of the finite or infinite antenna array. A unit cell is determined for the arbitrarily large antenna, and impedance matrices Zantenna and Zperiodic are computed, Zperiodic representing interactions among the unit cell and the other model antennas. From these matrices, the performance of the finite or infinite antenna array is assessed.

  • Patent number: 9511356
Abstract: There is provided a method for regenerating a spent dehydrogenation catalyst used in the conversion of n-paraffin to olefin. The method comprises method steps for removing the coke by treating the catalyst with an ozone-oxygen stream followed by an oxygen stream. The catalyst is stabilized by passing a nitrogen stream and the stabilized catalyst is rejuvenated by passing an air-nitrogen stream containing a halogenated hydrocarbon. This is followed by reducing the metal oxide in the catalyst by passing hydrogen-nitrogen stream.
