  • Patent number: 12057336
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for estimating heights of defects in a wafer. The method comprises creating an un-calibrated 3D model of a defect in a wafer, determining one or more attributes associated with the un-calibrated 3D model, transforming the un-calibrated 3D model to a calibrated 3D model, and estimating a height of the defect using the calibrated 3D model. Creating an un-calibrated 3D model corresponds to a defect present in a wafer based on a plurality of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images of the defect. Transforming the un-calibrated 3D model to a calibrated 3D model uses a scaling factor corresponding to the determined one or more attributes associated with the un-calibrated 3D model. • Patent number: 12058268
Abstract: Techniques of authenticating a first device of a user to a second device are disclosed. The method enables the second device to perform authentication using a biometric template stored on the first device and a biometric measurement. Homomorphic encryption may be used by the first device to encrypt the biometric template and the second device to determine an encrypted similarity metric between the biometric template and the biometric measurement. The second device can also determine an encrypted code using an authentication function and the encrypted similarity metric. The second device sends the encrypted code and the encrypted similarity metric to be decrypted by the first device. The second device can receive a response from the first device, indicating whether a decrypted similarity metric exceeds a threshold; and whether the decrypted code matches a test code. The second device can then authenticate the user based on the response.

A system and method for optimizing the operation of the battery pack in an electric vehicle is provided. The system comprises a digital twin for a battery pack in an electric vehicle. The system determines the state of charge, state of health and temperature distribution in the battery pack using various models. This information can be used to predict optimal charge and discharge profiles of the battery pack for given load conditions, as well as remaining useful life of the battery. The digital twin would require inputs such as battery temperatures from the sensors, coolant flow rates, coolant temperature, ambient temperature, load on the vehicle, current and voltages from the pack and battery characteristics from the manufacturer.

  • Patent number: 12052375
Abstract: Blockchain systems operate over a network of computing devices. Proof-of-space blockchain consensus systems utilize data (called plots) stored in storage devices across the computing devices within the network. These storage devices are utilized to generate and store proof-of-space consensus data. This data is then accessed at a later time to respond to challenges issued across the blockchain network. The owner of a plot may wish to sell a plot to another miner. If the seller is a bad-faith actor, they may retain copies of the secret key(s) and use them to continue mining the plot along with the buyer. To prevent these attacks, it may be desirable to submit a challenge response block where the proof-of-space is not visible as part of the challenge response. This may be done by replacing the proof-of-space with a proof-of-knowledge.

  • Publication number: 20240241820
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide an automated testing pipeline for providing a testing dataset for testing a trained neural network model trained using a first training dataset. A first testing dataset for the trained neural network including a first plurality of user queries is received. A dependency parser is used to filter the first plurality of user queries based on one or more action verbs. A pretrained language model is used to rank the remaining user queries based on respective relationships with queries in the first training dataset. Further, user queries that are classified as keyword matches with the queries in the first training dataset using a bag of words classifier are removed. A second testing dataset is generated using the ranked remaining user queries. Testing outputs are generated, by the trained neural network model, using the second testing dataset.
