Abstract: A cap configured to engage a male connector and a female connector includes a first housing for the female connector having a closed bottom, an open top, and a sidewall extending between the bottom and the top, and a first absorbent support disposed in the first housing configured to contact portions of the female connector. The cap also includes a removable second housing for the male connector disposed in the first housing. The second housing includes a bottom, a top, and a sidewall extending between the bottom and the top with an outer surface of the sidewall of the second housing engaged to an inner surface of the sidewall of the first housing. The cap also includes a second absorbent support disposed in the removable second housing configured to contact portions of the male connector.

Abstract: Systems and methods for data protection. In some embodiments, a computational storage device includes a controller circuit, a first compute function of a first application, a second compute function of the first application, a common memory area; and a persistent storage device. The controller circuit may be configured: to receive a first request from a host, the first request defining a first allocated function data memory region, for the first compute function; to receive a first memory access request, from the first compute function, for a first memory location in the common memory area and outside the first allocated function data memory region; and to deny the first memory access request.

Abstract: A cap is described for connection to a needleless connector having an open lumen, the cap includes a housing having a top wall and sidewall forming a first cavity, a flexible container, an porous absorbent material and a sealing rubber. The flexible container includes an inner thread on an inner surface, the inner thread being sufficient to interlock with a mating feature of a female needleless connector. The inner surface of the flexible container defines a second cavity. The sidewall of the housing having a split-thread protrusion integrally formed with the distal wall, an outer thread disposed on an outer surface of the split-thread protrusion, the outer thread being sufficient to interlock with a mating feature of a male needleless connector. The second cavity configured to define a chamber to contain an absorbent reservoir material, a sealing rubber and disinfectant or antimicrobial agent.

Abstract: A data storage device and method to selectively enable access to stored user data files. The method includes receiving authentication credential from a user and, in response, retrieving a unique user identifier associated with the authentication credential. The stored user data files on the data storage device each has respective data file identifier. The method includes, for each user, enumerating a directory of stored data files where the data file identifier matches the unique user identifier of that user. This enables selective access of files corresponding the user. Multiple users can be registered to the same data storage device and selective access prevents one user from accessing another user's data files.
