The location marker consists of a body having and at least one upright and a base supporting the upright from below, the upright being provided with an alerting feature to alert an observer or intended recipient about a message the alerting feature intends to convey; the body including biasing means configured to urge the upright into an erect orientation after being momentarily knocked over such that the alerting feature is almost always displayed, with the upright in the erect configuration.
