  • Patent number: 9990442
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining search results. The method may include receiving an at least partial search term, and identifying keywords based on the at least partial search term, wherein each keyword has an associated keyword measure based on the number of times each keyword has been previously searched for within a predetermined time period. For each keyword search results associated with the keyword may be identified, wherein each result has an associated search measure. A relevance measure may be determined for each result using the keyword measure the search measure, and used to provide at least one of the results as a search result for the at least partial search term.

  • Publication number: 20170371328
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for determining a capability of a vehicle, for example, an aircraft. The method comprises: acquiring, by one or more processors, from the vehicle, fault data that indicates the presence or absence of a fault on the vehicle; acquiring, by the one or more processors, a mission model specifying a mission to be performed; and processing, by the one or more processors, the fault data to determine an indication indicative of a capability of the vehicle to perform the mission specified by the mission model. The fault data may include one or more Fault Indication Codes (FICs) that are activated in response to the presence of respective faults in the vehicle. The one or more processors may, using the determined indications, determine a mission or maintenance schedule for the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9720504
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are presented for controlling an application on a device. In some embodiments, a method may include detecting that a user is maintaining an object or gesture at a position hovering near the device for a threshold length of time. The method may also include anchoring an initial position of the object or gesture to the device based on the detection of the maintained position, and controlling the application using the anchored initial position. In some embodiments, controlling the application using the anchored initial position may include manipulating the application based on detecting within a stable zone associated with the anchored initial position a change in height of the gesture or object relative to the device, and not manipulating the application whenever the object or gesture is detected to move along a plane above and parallel to the device and within the stable zone.
