  • Publication number: 20180272178
Abstract: An exercise machine. The exercise machine includes a frame, a foot engagement surface operably connected to the frame, and an arm rotatably connected to the frame at a pivot. The arm includes a handle connected to the arm at a first location distal to the pivot. The handle is configured to be gripped by a user. The arm includes a weight receiver connected to the arm at a second location distal to the pivot. The weight receiver is configured to hold one or more weights to modify a downward force provided at the handle.

  • Publication number: 20180259223
Abstract: A fuel-fired heating appliance comprises a fuel source, an air source, a chamber in which fuel and air mix, a burner downstream from the mixing chamber, an igniter proximate the burner, a heat exchanger, a blower and a flue pipe. An ambient air inlet may be defined by at least one of the outlet end of the blower and the flue pipe extending between the interior of the flue pipe and an area ambient to the flue pipe. A flow rate of combustion gas may be controlled to a level below a steady-state flow rate during appliance warm-up.

  • Publication number: 20180259199
Abstract: A fuel-fired heating appliance has two fuel flow paths to a burner, each actuatable to a closed state and to an open state. A heat exchanger is in fluid communication with an area proximate the burner. A controller executes the steps: (a) while the first fuel flow path is closed, opening the second flow path; (b) following ignition of fuel flowing from the second flow path, opening the first fuel flow path; and (c) following step (b), closing the second fuel flow path while opening the first fuel flow path.

  • Publication number: 20180202652
Abstract: A fuel-fired heating appliance comprises a burner and a first housing adjacent the burner so that an interior of the first housing receives combustion gasses from combustion at the burner. A heat exchanger defines a second housing with an inlet proximate an outlet of the first housing so that the inlet of the second housing receives combustion gasses from the outlet of the first housing, and wherein the first and second housings attach at an interface. A barrier extends within, and across an interface between, the outlet of the first housing and the inlet of the second housing and defines a thermal resistance that inhibits heat transfer from the combustion gasses to the interface.

  • Publication number: 20180130254
Abstract: Systems and techniques for an indoor geospatial site builder engine are presented. A system can convert facility artifacts into geospatially-defined indoor space geometry and provides a rich user experience to visualize the facility's indoor space identifying important landmarks as well as providing controls to navigate the indoor space. The system can also provide the ability to record and change the location of fixed assets at run time as well as verify the location of fixed assets in indoor space in real-time. Similarly, geometries can be updated in real-time. The system further provides the geospatial capability to determine precise distances between assets, devices and other points of interest that are defined independently in separate geo-referenced maps that represent space in various facilities across the globe. The location validation component provides for validation of system device locations over time with the actual device location.

  • Patent number: 9863636
Abstract: A flame indicator assembly for a fuel-fired heating appliance, the fuel-fired heating appliance including a burner assembly and control electronics. The flame indicator assembly comprises a flame sensor configured to allow the flow of electric current in response to exposure to a flame. The flame sensor is configured for electrical communication with the control electronics of the fuel-fired heating appliance. The flame indicator assembly also comprises a visual indicator module attached to the flame sensor. The visual indicator module comprises at least one light source. The visual indicator module is in operative communication with the flame sensor such that the at least one light source is actuated in response to the flow of electric current. A fuel-fired heating appliance comprising a flame indicator assembly is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9677785
Abstract: A fuel-fired condensing type air heating furnace is provided with an electronic condensate water level sensing system operative to sense improper outflow of condensate from a collector box portion of the furnace and responsively shut down or prevent operation of the furnace. Condensate probe portions of the system are oriented in a manner such that several air flow orientation of the furnace may be utilized without the necessity of relocating the probes or effecting an re-wiring of the water level sensing system.
