  • Patent number: 11461323
Abstract: Described herein are a system and techniques for increasing the efficiency of generating a result set for a query. In some embodiments, the techniques may involve performing computations on a high-level element, sorting, and selecting a set of the high-level elements, and recursively repeating the process on sub-elements of the set of the high-level elements. The process may be recursively repeated until a specified level of granularity is reached. This may significantly decrease the number of computations that need to be performed, increasing the speed with which queries can be performed. In some embodiments, the process may involve identifying elements which may be highly correlated to optimal computation results and may add those elements to the result set to improve the accuracy of the result set.

  • Publication number: 20210004716
Abstract: A global AI platform and a method for generating aggregated and ordered data sets are disclosed. Aggregated and ordered data sets are data sets that have been grouped, ordered, and for which one or more data values in the data set have been aggregated. As a result of their aggregation and ordering, aggregated and ordered data sets can be retrieved from a database and used more quickly than non-ordered, non-aggregated data sets. A data processor computer can receive a plurality of data sets, and from those data sets generate aggregated and ordered data sets that can subsequently be stored in an aggregated and ordered database. A data service computer can retrieve a subset of the aggregated and ordered data sets from the database, and use the subset as an input to an AI model that can be used to generate predictions that can be delivered to clients.

  • Publication number: 20170143077
Abstract: The present invention extends to removable shoe securing straps. A strap includes one or more portions of hook material on an end and/or on a side of the strap. The strap also includes one or more portions of loop material on another end and/or on another side of the strap. The strap can be inserted through eyelets on both sides of a shoe. The one or more hook portions can then be placed in contact with (e.g., folded over onto) the one or more loop portions to hold the strap in position. Thus, the strap secures the shoe onto the human foot. When secure, a human wearer is essentially prevented from “walking out” of the shoe. Accordingly, a human wearer can secure shoes to their feet in a more efficient manner.

The elongated conductor includes a first helically wound segment having at least one planar surface, a first end and a second end, which forms a first inductive component, and a second helically wound segment having at least one planar surface, a first end and a second end, which forms a second inductive element. The first and second helically wound segments are wound in the same longitudinal direction and share a common longitudinal axis. Planar surfaces of the helically wound segments face one another, and a dielectric material is disposed between the facing planar surfaces of the helically wound segments and between adjacent coils of the helically wound segments, thereby forming a capacitance.
