Abstract: Fishing lures are disclosed herein. An embodiment includes a fishing lure comprising: a rotatable lure body having an exterior surface, wherein the exterior surface includes one or more spaced helical grooves configured to effect rotation of the rotatable lure body during retrieval through water; and a hook coupled to the rotatable lure body, wherein the rotatable lure is configured to rotate independently of the hook; wherein the fishing lure is a topwater fishing lure.
