  • Publication number: 20240423332
Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a releasable coupling device having a first housing structure than includes a temporary magnet and a second housing structure that includes a permanent magnet. The first housing structure is receivable by a receiving receptacle of the second housing structure. The releasable coupling device may be included as part of a slide fastener assembly having two slider tapes.

  • Publication number: 20080122901
Abstract: A printhead reservoir includes at least one ink reservoir to hold ink and at least one umbilical to deliver ink to the ink reservoir under pressure. A filter resides between the umbilical and the ink reservoir having meniscus strength sufficient enough to prevent the reservoir from draining when the pressure is removed or if a pressure is applied downstream of the filter. The filter may reside above the ink reservoir to further reduce the ink drain back. The reservoir may also include a weir plate to allow the filter to reside below the ink level.

  • Publication number: 20040202836
Abstract: An ink-jet ink media sheet can include a specialty media coating configured for receiving ink-jet ink, wherein the media sheet has perforations therethrough that at least partially define a non-rectangular predetermined shape. A customization system for electronic components is also disclosed that can use the ink-jet media sheet described above, or another media sheet, which includes, an electronic component having a display space of a first configuration for receiving a printed media sheet of a predetermined shape; and a media sheet having perforations defining the predetermined shape, wherein upon tearing along the perforations, the predetermined shape is formable. In one embodiment, a printed predetermined shape forms a selected media image or skin that can be placed in the display space.

  • Patent number: 6629788
Abstract: Apparatus and method for adjusting and maintaining printhead-to-platen spacing in a printing device, wherein the printing device includes a printhead-carrying carriage and the carriage is pivotally mounted on and reciprocally shiftable along a guide shaft. An anti-rotation rail mounted on a hanger in the printer engages the carriage and determines its position relative to the printer's platen. A clamp structure is connected to the anti-rotation rail and extends through the hanger and is operable for clamping the anti-rotation rail to the hanger. An adjuster mechanism connected to the clamp structure is operable for selectively shifting the anti-rotation rail vertically upwardly or downwardly to position and maintain the carriage, and correspondingly, the printhead a preselected, nominal distance from the platen.
