  • Publication number: 20160335237
Abstract: A display module is coupled to a first universal control module and the display module includes an e-ink display. The first universal control module is configured to be connected to a control system. The first universal control module is customizable and programmable. Information is subsequently received. At least some of the information is rendered on the e-ink display. The information includes at least one of: information as to an installation of the universal control module, or information as to the status of the universal control module. The e-ink display is configured to display the information in the absence of power being provided to the e-ink display or when the display module is removed from the first universal control module.

  • Publication number: 20130103776
Abstract: System and methods are provided. In one embodiment, a system includes a network protocol handler circuitry configured to communicate by using a network protocol, and a signal interface and timing circuitry communicatively coupled to the network protocol handler circuitry. The system further includes a diagnostic circuitry configured to provide network condition information, and a communications interface communicatively coupled to the signal interface and timing circuitry. The communications interface includes a first line receiver circuitry communicatively coupled to a network connector and configured to receive a first voltage and a first current associated with the network protocol. The communications interface further includes a push-pull driver circuitry configured to produce a second voltage and a second current transmitted through the network connector.
