  • Patent number: 12167056
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for controlling data such as content and/or application data transmitted to one or more user devices. One method can comprise receiving a request for first content and generating, in response to the request for the first content, a first transport stream comprising the first content and application data relating to a first application. At least a portion of the first transport stream is transmitted to a recipient device. An interruption in the transmission of the first transport stream is detected and a determination is made that only a first portion of the application data has been transmitted to the recipient device. A second transport stream including second content and a second portion of the application data is generated and transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20240390786
Abstract: Some cloud gaming and other remote game environments require a user to wait in a queue before playing a game. During this time, the user may be concerned that they will lose their place in the queue if they close the window displaying the game to do another task on the computing device. If the user decides to do something away from the computing device while waiting in the queue, it is possible that the user will be unaware when they progress out of the queue and miss their opportunity to play the game. This can be a frustrating experience for the user. The embodiments presented herein can be used to address this situation.

  • Publication number: 20240307760
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a controller with a user-input element, such as a software service button, that can be programmed to accept various sequenced hardware-initiated input events (e.g., double press) that allow for other actions to overlay on top of default actions of a software service button. This can be accomplished, by way of example, through a custom accessory communication protocol that can receive the input events in the platform operating service application, even when the app is in the background to enable the various overlay actions. Thus, the user can use the overlay actions even when the platform operating service application is not in the foreground.

  • Publication number: 20240227527
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a vehicular slider window assembly includes providing at least one fixed window panel, attaching upper and lower rails at the fixed window panel, and movably disposing a movable window panel at the upper and lower rails. Elongated sealing portions are formed by forming base portions of the respective elongated sealing portions via a first shot injection molding process using a polypropylene material, and by forming elongated sealing lips along the respective base portions via a second shot injection molding process using a thermoplastic elastomer. The elongated sealing portions are joined at adjacent ends to form a perimeter seal. The perimeter seal is adhesively attached at a surface of fixed window panel so as to circumscribe the opening and to seal against a surface of the movable window panel when the movable window panel is in the closed position.
