  • Publication number: 20200321812
Abstract: An alignment tool has: an alignment plate; an aligner having a planar configuration configured to be placed on top of the alignment plate; and a universal sticker or under case ring having a tacky upper surface configured for connection to a lower surface of a mobile device. The aligner has a thickness that is greater than the universal sticker or under case ring. The aligner bottom surface of the aligner adheres to the alignment plate and has frictional contact with the alignment plate so that the alignment plate does not slip relative to the aligner bottom surface. After attachment of the ferrous plate an accessory can be removably connected so that the mobile device can be in a charging mode or accessory mode.

  • Publication number: 20170195640
Abstract: A wireless doorbell having a housing, the housing having a rear portion and a front portion, the rear portion configured to be secured to a support and the front portion configured to be secured to the rear portion. The wireless doorbell having a sensor configured to detect an object in a vicinity of the wireless doorbell, a camera configured to be activated and obtain at least one image, and a microphone configured to obtain audio signals. A wireless transmitter can be configured to transmit, to the server from the wireless doorbell, a signal indicative of the object being detected, the at least one image and the audio signals. The server can be configured to perform image recognition on the at least one image and speech recognition analysis on the audio signals to determine a context of the object being detected in the vicinity of the wireless doorbell.

  • Patent number: 8830979
Abstract: In general, a mobile unit for communicating with other mobile units assigned to a group within a Multipoint Voice Network (“MVN”) having a plurality of groups is shown. The mobile unit may include a time division multiple access (“TDMA”) transmitter, a TDMA receiver, and a controller. The TDMA transmitter is enabled to transmit a set of multiple carrier frequencies, where the TDMA transmitter is configured to transmit on one frequency chosen from a sub-set of multiple carrier frequencies from the set of multiple carrier frequencies. The sub-set of multiple carrier frequencies corresponds to the group to which the mobile unit is assigned. The TDMA receiver is configured to receive and demodulate the sub-set of multiple carrier frequencies and the controller configures the TDMA receiver to receive and demodulate the sub-set of multiple carrier frequencies that is assigned to the group. A switch may be utilized to set time slots for the TDMA transmitter and the TDMA receiver.

  • Publication number: 20080170710
Abstract: A preferred embodiment according to the present invention includes a headphone with improved frequency response. More specifically, the headphone includes a driver having an elongated port (e.g., a cylinder, tube, cube, or any shaped protrusion having a passage through it) that changes the acoustic frequency response of the driver. Thus, by adjusting characteristics such size, shape and location of the port, a designer can achieve a more desirable frequency response for the headphone.
