  • Publication number: 20240150242
Abstract: A three-part epoxy grout composition comprises a liquid epoxy blend, a liquid hardener, and a graded particulate aggregate, wherein the dry aggregate particles are pretreated with an applied adhesion promoter in an amount of 0.01 to 5% by weight. The volume of pretreated aggregate particles, when mixed with the epoxy blend and the hardener, comprises at least 70% by volume of the cured grout. Pretreatment of the aggregate by coating with adhesion promoter allows more efficient use of chemicals along with improved strength. Related methods are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11917035
Abstract: Techniques are described for enabling a cloud-based service to provide rate controls for events to be delivered by the service to event targets. An event bus service, for example, broadly enables users to create and configure event buses that receive events from event sources and from which the event bus service filters, transforms, routes, and delivers events to selected event targets according to configurable rules. A new event egress call pattern is provided that estimates a rate of attempted event traffic to event targets and a rate of successfully delivered event traffic (also referred to as a local rate estimation), and that uses the rate estimations to determine when it may be appropriate to throttle event delivery, thereby reducing stress on downstream systems experiencing capacity issues and potentially reducing a number of event delivery retries to be handled by the event bus service.

  • Publication number: 20230388348
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide systems and methods for analyzing and optimizing access policies. Access policies are analyzed by an access policy optimization system. In cases where large numbers of users have similar access privileges, the number of overall policies can be significantly reduced. An access control health metric is computed on an original set of access data as a measure of the current state of the access policies. It can be used as an indication that optimization of the access policies is warranted. The access data can include access policies and/or access groups. A policy subgroup mapping process is performed to identify subgroups of access policies. Subgroups with a number of entries exceeding a predetermined value are converted to access groups, the users that have those policies are added to the corresponding access groups, and the individual access policies are deleted. Duplicative and/or redundant policies are identified and removed.
