  • Patent number: 9694754
Abstract: A vehicle body structure includes a side wall at least partially defining a cargo area. The side wall has an electrical fixture. A storage compartment assembly has a storage compartment and is moveable between an uninstalled orientation and an installed orientation where the storage compartment assembly is directly fastened to the side wall. An outboard panel of the storage compartment assembly includes a fixture receiving opening aligned with the electrical fixture with the storage compartment assembly in the installed orientation such that the electrical fixture is only accessible from within the storage compartment.

  • Patent number: 9669746
Abstract: A storage compartment assembly is moveable between an uninstalled orientation and an installed orientation in which the storage compartment assembly is directly fastened to a side wall of a cargo area. The storage compartment assembly defines an opening along an upper end thereof providing access to the storage compartment. A lid is pivotally supported to the storage compartment assembly by a hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism extends in a direction parallel to the side wall with the storage compartment assembly in the installed orientation. The lid is movable between a closed orientation covering the opening and concealing the storage compartment, and an open orientation uncovering the opening and exposing the storage compartment. The lid contacts the elongated support projection in the open orientation such that the lid is supported by the elongated support projection.

  • Patent number: 9623787
Abstract: A tie-down assembly includes a clamping member configured to engage an accessory track of a vehicle. The clamping member is movable between engaged and disengaged positions. A cleat receives the clamping member and has a first side that engages the accessory track. A shaft of the clamping member passes through the cleat. A tightening member receives a free end of the shaft of the clamping member. The tightening member engages the shaft on a second side of the cleat opposite the first side. An indicator is fixed to the clamping member and is movable with the clamping member between a locked position in which the clamping member is in the engaged position and an unlocked position in which the clamping member is in the disengaged position. The indicator indicates the locked and unlocked positions when viewed from the second side of the cleat.

  • Patent number: 9623809
Abstract: A storage compartment assembly has a main body including an inboard panel and an outboard panel defining a storage compartment therebetween. With the storage compartment assembly installed to a side wall, at least a first portion of the main body extends under an overhanging portion of the side wall and a second portion of the main body extends inboard relative to the overhanging portion over an area of a cargo area floor. An upper end of the first portion of the storage compartment assembly includes at least one upwardly extending projection that extends upwardly adjacent to the overhanging portion within a space between the upper end of the side wall and a utility attachment track such that the utility attachment track restricts movement of the upper end in an inboard direction with the storage compartment assembly installed to the side wall.

  • Publication number: 20040015371
Abstract: A method and system of managing recruitment data provides an online application process that prohibits submission of a job application unless the applicant selects one or more available jobs. The applicant is also required to submit gender and ethnicity information. The applicant's information is stored in a database where it is related to jobs or job groups so that the employer can create a profile of the gender, ethnicity, and optionally other applicant data for applicants who apply for specified jobs or job groups. Preferably, the system also allows the employer to track similar information for new hires and thus profile an applicant pool and compare it to a profile of actual hires.
