    Abstract: A grounding clip for an electrical connector having an insulative housing and a connector shell includes a base configured to engage a first outer surface of the insulative housing, and a collar extending from the base and engaging a second outer surface of the insulative housing. The collar includes at least one grounding tab extending therefrom. A conductive insert engages the connector shell and the base.
