A controlling device for vaporizing and/or spraying a therapeutic composition is described including a power input element configured to connect with and receive power from a power source, a power adjustment device connected to the power input element, and a power output element connected to the power adjustment device and configured to connect with and provide power to a processing element. Optionally a power-storing device configured to couple with said power input element, and an electric transformer configured to couple with said power source can also comprise part of the device.
