  • Publication number: 20120192965
Abstract: A system for supplying hot and cold water to users in a building, the system comprising: a first mode for supplying water to users; a second mode for preparing to supply water at a desired temperature by recycling water from the hot water pipe into the cold pipe; a faucet having a mixing chamber; a hot water inlet; a cold water inlet; an outlet; and a mechanism for adapting the system to various types of users including humans and appliances

  • Publication number: 20120031498
Abstract: A system for supplying hot and cold water to an apartment/house. Recycling water from the hot into the cold water pipe comprises a faucet having adjustable first and second valves installed in the paths to hot and cold water inlets and third valve in the path to outlet. The valves are electrically controlled; circulating pump installed in the cold water pipe. When the first and second valves of at least one faucet are open and the third valve closed, activating the circulating pump will cause water from the hot water pipe to flow through the faucet to the cold water pipe; c. controller means for activating the three valves and the circulating pump in one of two modes of operation: in a first (circulation) mode, water circulation is accomplished by opening the first and second valves and closing the third valve.

  • Publication number: 20100198643
Abstract: One or more drinks machines are used for preparing or providing drinks using a computers' network, and an adapter connected in between. The users can order drinks through a graphic interface and monitor the status of the drinks and of the machines. The orders can be managed using a queue and each user can be notified through the computer when the drink is ready or can he prepared. The adapter can he connected to an existing machine or provided with one. Another possibility is that the adapter would include wireless communication support. It may he possible that the adapter would also monitor the drink machine as well as sending commands for preparing ordered drinks.

  • Patent number: 6931949
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for measuring the mass and calculating the weight of individual objects to be held thereby, comprising forceps having a proximal portion and a distal portion, the proximal portion being adapted to grasp and hold a selected object, means associated with the forceps for initiating vibration of the same while the object is held thereby and means for measuring the oscillating frequency of the forceps while the object is held thereby, and for utilizing the measured higher oscillating frequency of the empty forceps to compute the mass and the weight of the selected object.

  • Patent number: 6397678
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring the mass of individual objects, particularly small diamonds, within a predetermined range of sizes, by conveying the objects towards an oscillatable probe having a predetermined mass and a vacuum port of smaller dimensions than those of the objects; applying vacuum to the vacuum port to attract and hold thereto one of the individual objects to thereby add its mass to the mass of the oscillatable probe; measuring the oscillating frequency of the oscillatable probe while the individual object attracted thereto is held by the vacuum applied to the vacuum port, and utilizing the measured oscillating frequency of the probe and the object attracted thereto to compute the mass of the object, before releasing the vacuum to release the object.
