    Abstract: A nursing pillow for supporting an infant on the lap of a user includes a main pillow body having a lower surface and an opposed upper surface interconnected by a front edge, a rear edge and a pair of opposed sides. The pillow body includes a mid portion with a first end and a second end. The upper surface of the mid portion slopes downwardly from side-to-side such that the upper surface of mid portion is higher at the first end and lower at the second end. The pillow body also includes a side portion adjacent the second end of the mid portion. The upper surface of the side portion is raised relative to the second end of the mid portion such that the upper surface of the pillow body steps upwardly from the second end of the mid portion to the side portion.
