  • Patent number: 11979740
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for securing transmission of sensitive data on an LPWAN network such as LoRaWAN. Long-range, low-power transmission may enable a transaction card to communicate with a financial institution server without internet or cellular connectivity. The transaction card may generate a first security key. The key may include a transaction timestamp, a random number generated by the transaction card microprocessor, a personal identifier received at the transaction card from a user, one or more card parameters, and/or any suitable factors. A long-range, low-power network server may detect the card transmission. The server may retrieve the card parameters and personal identifiers stored in association with a user account during card registration. The server may generate a second security key. Based on a match between the first security key and the second security key, the server may authenticate the transmission.

  • Patent number: 11979203
Abstract: A set of stators of a linear induction motor are mounted on a track. A three-phase current is provided to each of the stators, such that a traveling magnetic field (TMF) is created by the stators along the length of the track. The traveling magnetic field includes a magnetic flux corresponding to a stator excitation modulated with a message signal. A rotor includes a series of conductor plates. As the traveling magnetic field passes through the conductor plates, a current is induced in the plates by induction. Such current then generates an opposing magnetic field causing the plates and the vehicle to be propelled. Each phase may first be modulated with a message signal, before being provided to the stator. The current at the rotor is then demodulated to realize the message signal. A doppler shift due to the speed of the rotor relative to the stator is corrected.

  • Publication number: 20240086924
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided herein for hyperspectral imaging based authentication. An example method includes receiving check data associated with at least a first user and extracting one or more field details from the check data. By leveraging a hyperspectral imaging module, the method further includes generating hyperspectral image data associated with the one or more extracted field details and determining one or more spectral characteristics associated with the one or more extracted field details based on the hyperspectral image data. The method further includes determining a tampering indication for the check data based on the one or more spectral characteristics. The spectral characteristics may include one or more reflectance values associated with extracted field details across a plurality of spectral bands.

  • Publication number: 20240078297
Abstract: A system for secure data transfer in a virtual environment receives a request to initiate a virtual interaction session between an avatar and an entity within the virtual environment. The avatar is operated by a user using a user device. The system presents a virtual data reader to the avatar. The virtual data reader comprises a screen to display data. The system receives user input from the user device. The user input includes user information and data object to be transferred to the entity. The user input is transferred from the user input to the virtual data reader. The system receives a security token from the avatar. The system verifies that the user input belongs to the user. The system also determines that the security token is valid. In response, the system transfers the data object to the entity and concludes the virtual interaction session.

  • Patent number: 10699371
Abstract: A system for an airborne platform includes a display device, an input device, and an image processing circuit. The display device is configured to display a visualization provided as a pixel matrix capable of being virtually rotated along a horizontal axis or along a vertical axis based on a user input. The input device is configured to receive user input providing an indication to virtually rotate the visualization along at least one of the horizontal axis and the vertical axis. The image processing circuit is configured to receive pixel data corresponding to the pixel matrix, receive the user input from the input device, determine an offset angle to virtually rotate the visualization along the horizontal axis or the vertical axis, configure the visualization in response to the determined offset angle, and output the configured visualization for display on the display device.

  • Patent number: 8184210
Abstract: A digital radio frequency (RF) modulator provides modulation for base-band TV signals. The RF modulator provides direct conversion of digital base-band audio and video signals to a desired RF channel frequency, without any analog up conversion. The RF modulator includes an audio module, a video module, and a RF converter. The audio module includes a pre-emphasis filter, a multi-stage audio interpolator and a complex frequency modulator to generate frequency modulated (FM) audio signals. The video module includes a complex VSB filter, a group-delay compensation filter and some processing logic to generate a filtered output video signal. The RF converter includes a complex adder, a complex multiplier and a RF interpolator to construct the base band TV signals and to shift the base band TV signals in a frequency domain to the desired RF channel frequency. The exponential video carrier is generated at baseband and has a frequency whose value is in the range of +/?13.5 MHz.
