  • Patent number: 12026009
Abstract: Quadrature clock generation circuits and techniques are disclosed. An example quadrature clock generator includes an in-phase (I) clock generation circuit to generate an I clock signal based on a reference clock signal, the I clock signal and the reference clock signal each having a first frequency, a quadrature phase (Q) clock generation circuit to generate a Q clock signal based on the reference clock signal, a rise time control signal, and a fall time control signal, the Q clock signal having the first frequency, and a control circuit to generate the rise time control signal and the fall time control signal based on the I clock signal and the Q clock signal.

  • Patent number: 12002457
Abstract: A system is provided for determining which user inputs correspond to eligible actions for a particular device type. The system determines a device type identifier corresponding to the device that receives the user input and an action to be performed in response to the user input. The system determines that the performed action corresponds to an eligible action type for the device type identifier, and performs further processing using data related to the corresponding user input. Different device type identifiers may be associated with different eligible action types. The system may evaluate multiple user inputs from different users and different devices.

  • Publication number: 20150070747
Abstract: This disclosure provides circuits and methods for resetting a movable element, such as a mirror of an interferometric modulator (IMOD), to a consistent starting point or reset position. In one example, a circuit may include three electrodes with a capacitor coupled between two of the electrodes. Additionally, the polarity of one of the electrodes may be configured to switch and reverse in polarity relative to another electrode. Accordingly, the movable element may be moved to a reset position.

  • Publication number: 20130100518
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for an electromechanical systems device. In one aspect, an electromechanical systems device may include a substrate and a movable layer positioned apart from the substrate. The movable layer and the substrate may define a cavity. The movable layer may be movable to increase the size of the cavity or to decrease the size of the cavity. The movable layer also may include a first anchor point attaching the movable layer to the substrate and a first feature associated with the first anchor point. The first feature may include a protrusion of the movable layer into or out from the cavity.
