  • Publication number: 20220274189
Abstract: A self-adjusting pocket hole jig system is presented having a base, an upright assembly operably connected to the base, a clamping assembly, operably connected to the upright assembly, a handle operably connected to the clamping assembly, and a drill guide assembly operably connected to the clamping assembly. The drill guide assembly is configured and arranged to move along the upright assembly between an unclamped position and a clamped position in response to movement of the handle. Movement of the handle simultaneously adjusts the height of the drill guide assembly as well as facilitates clamping of the drill guide assembly for workpieces of various thicknesses.

  • Patent number: 11168965
Abstract: A system for cutting narrow workpieces having a track that extends a width between a cutting edge and a non-cutting edge. One or more measuring bodies are connected to a slot adjacent the non-cutting edge that include a measuring bar that extends forward from the front side of the measuring body and under the track as well as extends rearward from the rear side of the measuring body. The measuring bar slides within the measuring body to accommodate the desired workpiece thickness. The measuring bar includes measuring indicia and a measuring member that facilitates measurement of workpiece thickness. Measuring body includes a locking member that locks the measuring bar at a desired thickness. Measuring member may be adjusted to calibrate the measuring member to the track and saw using a locking member. Measuring body also includes a support leg and associated locking mechanism that levels the measuring body.

  • Publication number: 20210283797
Abstract: A system for cutting wide workpieces is presented having a track that extends a length between opposing ends and extends a width between a cutting edge and a non-cutting edge. One or more measuring bodies are connected to track and include a flexible measuring tape that extends outward from the rear side of the measuring body. The measuring bodies include a locking member that includes an arm connected to a rotating axle having a cam surface that pushes down upon a brake shoe that includes pads formed of a material having a high coefficient of friction that securely holds the measuring tape between the brake shoe on one side and a cradle on the other side. In this way, a system is presented that facilitates quick, easy and repeatable cuts on wide workpieces.
