Abstract: A support rail assembly for positioning work-related accessories adjacent a worksurface such as a table. The rail assembly includes a horizontally elongated rail supported in upwardly spaced relationship from the worksurface by a support arm or stanchion. The rail defines therein an elongate slot which permits the mounting of accessories in various positions on the rail which are convenient to the user. The rail is supportable from either the rear edge of a worksurface or may be cantilevered forwardly from a wall adjacent the worksurface or from a wall panel to which the worksurface is attached.

Abstract: An office accessory arrangement including a stationary support rail and a grip clip removably supported thereon. The grip clip includes a pair of opposed grip members joined to one another by a hinge arrangement for enabling relative pivoting of the grip members about a hinge axis. The grip clip has a biasing structure which relatively pivotably biases the grip members in opposite directions towards a closed position in which opposed inner gripping services of the respective grip members engage one another or engage a document therebetween. The support rail has a channel-like part which defines an outwardly opening narrow slot, with one side of the slot being defined by a cantilevered wall of the channel-like part. The grip clip, when engaged with the support rail, is disposed so that the cantilevered wall of the channel-like part projects into a slot defined within the support rail to securely position the grip clip thereon.

Abstract: A holding device (1) for the accommodation, for example the clamping accommodation, of a telephone unit (18), in particular a handset of a car telephone or of a mobile telephone, has two side walls (2, 3) that are arranged at a distance from each other for positioning the telephone unit (18), the distance between the side walls (2, 3) being smaller than the width of the telephone unit (18), in order to accommodate the telephone unit (18) between them in a first position in which main faces of the telephone unit (18) are situated opposite the side walls (2, 3), and in order to store the telephone unit (18) in a second position, on longitudinal edges of the side walls (2, 3), in which the main faces of the telephone unit (18) are situated transversely with respect to the side walls (2, 3). The distance between the side walls (2, 3) advantageously corresponds at least approximately to the thickness of the telephone unit (18).

Abstract: A divider arrangement for organizing documents including a base part for supportive engagement with either an elongate mounting rail positioned above a worksurface or with a generally horizontal support surface, and a plurality of divider elements which project upwardly from the base part. Each of the divider elements is defined by an upwardly opening channel member having spaced-apart front and rear walls joined together by a bottom wall extending transversely therebetween, with a plurality of the channel members being supported on the base part in sidewardly adjacent relationship so as to define a plurality of adjacent storage slots. Each of the channel members assume a slightly angled relationship relative to the base part so that the bottom wall extends at a slight angle relative to the horizontal and the front and rear walls extend at a slight angle relative to the vertical.

Abstract: A rail-mounted hanging file arrangement includes a generally horizontally elongated rail which is supported in upwardly spaced relationship from the worksurface so as to extend generally along but above the rear edge thereof. The rail defines therein a longitudinally elongated slot which opens forwardly of the rail, and a file hanging frame is releasably attached to the rail at substantially any position therealong so that the frame is carried entirely by the rail and projects rearwardly a small distance therefrom to permit conventional hanging type files to be stored just rearwardly of the rail adjacent the rear edge of the worksurface. The file hanging frame includes a pair of generally parallel side legs which are spaced so as to permit a plurality of hanging files to be suspended therebetween, and the hang tabs provided on opposite ends of the files can engage the side legs.

Abstract: A storage bin for storage and containment of cabling associated with work-related items such as computers, telephones and the like. The storage bin is mountable generally along a terminal edge of a furniture component such as a worksurface, so that cabling can be routed from atop the worksurface downwardly into a hollow interior of the bin. The storage bin additionally includes pairs of overlapping side walls at each end of the bin which are movable relative to one another to enable opening and closing of the bin when mounted on the worksurface.

Abstract: A shallow tray of the type for use on a worksurface or other support top having a construction which enables several such trays to be disposed vertically one above the other and at least partially nested one within another, either when the trays are empty or contain only a small number of documents therein to permit compact storage on a worksurface top while utilizing minimal space. The tray construction in addition allows the trays to be vertically cross-stacked one on top of another to provide for desired vertical separation and hence at least limited visibility and access to the individual trays in the stack, while at the same time providing significant storage capability and document separation while minimizing the amount of space utilized on the worksurface top.

Abstract: An information display device for use in conjunction with a computer monitor including a front display board having a surface capable of being written upon with ink markers of the erasable type, and a rear support arrangement which supports the information display device atop a computer monitor or other surface. The information display device also includes a message arm which is extendible from either side of the device from a channel formed within the interior thereof. The smooth front surface of the message arm is particularly useful for displaying self-adhesive type message notes in a location convenient to the worker. The information display device additionally defines front and rear shallow troughs for storing work-related items therein.
