Abstract: Systems The present invention discloses systems and methods for generating a zero-waste design pattern and reduction in fabric/material waste including but not limited to garment(s), furniture, shoes and other accessories, wherein the method comprises the steps of: (i) accepting a target design input comprising a first plurality of cut pieces; (ii) rendering a first 3D clothing surface from the first plurality of cut pieces from the target design input; (iii) merging/splitting, optimizing and packing the first plurality of cut pieces iteratively to yield a second plurality of cut pieces; (iv) rendering a second 3D clothing surface from the second plurality of cut pieces; and (v) comparing the first 3D clothing surface and second 3D clothing surface and performing the tasks of merging/splitting, optimizing and packing iteratively when a distortion between the first 3D clothing surface and second 3D clothing surface exceeds a pre-defined threshold value.

Abstract: A method and a system for smart photography are disclosed. The system may include a retrieval module comprising one or more processors configured to determine a description of the item from the identity of the item. The system may include a sensor configured to capture an image including an image of the item. The system may include an image processing module comprising the one or more processors configured to identify the image of the item in the captured image using the description of the item and configured to generate from the captured image a generated image comprising the image of the item and an identification indicator of the image of the item. The image may be identified based on comparing the image with descriptions of other identified items. Optionally, the system may include an identification device configured to determine an identity of an item.

Abstract: A system and method for providing an instant stylist is provided. In example embodiments, a trigger to initiate generation of a product combination is received from a user device. The trigger may include a user preference of a user operating the user device. Style data is accessed. The style data provides guidelines indicating compatible attributes of item combinations derived from source data. Based on the user preference and the style data, the product combination is generated by matching attributes of products using the guidelines indicating the compatible attributes of item combinations. The product combination is output in a results user interface.
