Abstract: A foldable pair of scissors includes a first scissor, a second scissor pivotally connected with the first scissor, a first lever pivotally connected with the first scissor, a second lever pivotally connected with the second scissor, a first handle pivotally connected with the first lever and a second handle pivotally connected with the second lever. The foldable pair of scissors may include a retaining device for retaining each of the first and second handles in an extended position relative to one of the first and second levers. The retaining device may be a strip including an end secured to a side plate of the first or second handle and a free end for abutment against an end of a side strip of the first or second lever. The end of the side strip of the first or second lever may be flat for adequate engagement with the retaining device.

Abstract: A tool includes one or more tool members each having two tool elements pivotally coupled together. One or two handles each includes one end pivotally coupled to the block at a pivot pin and each includes a latch device for securing the handle to one end extension of the tool elements. The extensions of the tool elements each has a spring-biased projection for positioning the extension of the tool elements to the block. The blocks each has a shoulder for limiting the rotational movement of the handle relative to the block.

Abstract: A saw includes a handle and a saw blade pivotally coupled to the handle and having two or more orifices. The handle has a spring-biased projection for engaging with the orifices and for securing the saw blade at a selected angular position relative to the handle. A knob is slidably engaged in the handle for disengaging the projection from the orifices and for allowing the saw blade to rotate relative to the handle. The handle has an arch for forming an opening and for engaging with a hand of a user. A panel is slidably engaged in the arch for shielding the opening.
