  • Patent number: 10992471
Abstract: A method determines whether another party has information about a person without disclosing personal identification information of the person. The method includes receiving, at a third computer system, a first set of data comprising personal identification information of a first person and encrypting the first set of data to generate a third set of data. The method also includes transmitting, to a second computer system, the third set of data. The method further includes receiving, at the third computer system from the second computer system, a message indicating the third set of data matches a fourth set of data encrypted from a second set of data comprising personal identification information of a second person. The method still further includes transmitting, from the third computer system, a message indicating the second person matches the first person when the fourth and third set of data matches.

  • Patent number: 10991062
Abstract: A method for processing transactions receives from a customer, at a merchant computer system, customer account identification information, and customer identification information. The method includes encrypting, at the merchant computer system, transaction data corresponding to a transaction between a merchant and the customer. The transaction data is encrypted with an encryption key generated from the customer identification information. The method transmits, from the merchant computer system to a financial institution, the customer account identification information, and the encrypted transaction data. The method receives, at the merchant computer system from the financial institution, a notification indicating whether to proceed with the transaction based on whether the encrypted transaction data was successfully decrypted with a decryption key generated from account holder identification information derived from the customer account identification information.

  • Publication number: 20210058165
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a device, method and computer readable storage medium for wireless data transmission. In example embodiments, the device includes a first NCO configured to shift a frequency of a pre-distorted downlink baseband signal by a first offset to generate a first signal. The baseband signal is associated with a plurality of allocated carriers. The device also includes an RF processing unit including an LO configured to generate an LO signal at an LO frequency. The LO frequency is within a protection area of one of the plurality of allocated carriers or equal to a center frequency of the one of the plurality of allocated carriers. The device also includes a power amplifier configured to generate, based on a modulated baseband signal, an amplified signal for transmission. The device also includes a second NCO configured to shift a frequency of the amplified signal by a second offset to generate a second signal for generation of a pre-distortion coefficient.

  • Patent number: 10922754
Abstract: A computer system conducts transactional monitoring to detect different types of possible cases in order to prevent financial crimes and assist businesses to comply with different types of laws and regulations. The computer system derives a total risk score for each of a group of entities based on risk factors. Each of the risk factors is assigned a risk score. The computer system also detects an entity when the total risk score of the detected entity differs from a reference derived from total risk scores of the group of entities by a pre-determined margin. The computer system also assists a user to identify at least one transaction that has caused the detected entity to have a total risk score that differs from the reference derived from the total risk scores of the group of entities.

  • Patent number: 10909483
Abstract: A computer method enable retail businesses to manage their customers using personal communication devices. The method assigns a customer to a tail of a first wait list when the customer is at a location remote from the store and registers through a software application on a personal communication device. The method also sends a message to the personal communication device when a length of a second wait list is shorter than a predetermined length and the customer is at a head of the first wait list and ready to be moved to a transition pool. The method also moves the customer from the transition pool to the second wait list after the customer arrives at the store, and removes the customer from the second wait list in response to an action by the store.

  • Publication number: 20200311732
Abstract: A central computer system verifies the identification information and the financial account information provided by consumers through a network of computer systems. Innovative computerized methods are used for the verification. After the verification, when a computer system on the network conducts a transaction with a consumer, the central computer system sends an alert to the consumer so that the consumer can stop the transaction in real time if the transaction is unauthorized.

  • Publication number: 20200311736
Abstract: A computerized method produces an identity code to identify each subject stored in the computer systems connected to a computer network while protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the subject. A central computer system receives an identity code of a suspect of a financial crime and sends the identity code to all computer systems connected to the computer network. The computer systems that have the matched identity code send the requested information to the central computer system. As a result, law enforcement organizations can eliminate crimes and financial institutions can recover the money stolen from them. In addition, law enforcement organizations and financial institutions can identify money launderers that are missed by their anti-money laundering transactional monitoring systems.

  • Publication number: 20200311726
Abstract: A central computer system transforms identification information of a consumer into an identity code that hides the identification information and stores it with contact information of a consumer's computer system. When a computer system on the network of the central computer system conducts a transaction with a subject who uses the identity code of the consumer, the central computer system contacts the consumer's computer system so that the consumer can stop the transaction if it is not authorized. Because only the identity code is used to protect the consumer, the original identification information of the consumer is fully protected.

  • Publication number: 20200294050
Abstract: A method stores, at a first computer system, first data associated with a user, a first portion of a first account number associated with the first data, and third data associated with the first data. An identity of the user is unidentifiable from the first data. The method receives, at the first computer system, a second portion of a second account number from a second computer system, second data generated by the second computer system based on electronically obtained identification information. The method transmits, by the first computer system, a message associated with the user based on the third data when the second data corresponds to the first data and the second portion of the second account number corresponds to the first portion of the first account number. The message is for completing a transaction, preventing a crime, making a statement, triggering a response, and/or giving an instruction.

  • Publication number: 20200258181
Abstract: An intelligent alert system triggers potential cases based on a set of scenarios and sends the potential cases and the reports with default narratives to an investigator. Through the changes made by the investigator on the default narratives, the intelligent alert system learns a writing style of the investigator. Eventually, the intelligent alert system can automatically submit a report with a narrative that matches the writing style of the investigator.

  • Publication number: 20200258147
Abstract: An intelligent alert system triggers potential cases based on a set of scenarios and sends the potential cases to investigators. After the investigation, the intelligent alert system records in a database the investigation results for each potential case, the associated set of scenarios that triggered the potential case, and the date and the time of such investigation. As a result, the intelligent alert system can gradually learn from the investigators and will automatically make decisions for some future potential cases with little human involvement.

  • Patent number: 10713661
Abstract: A computerized and networked system protects individuals against identity theft without the need to disclose the detailed personal information of the individuals. Furthermore, the system helps prevent loss and damage to consumers, financial institutions and merchants caused by financial crimes related to identity theft. In addition, users can conduct payments in a secure manner without the need to use any traditional financial instrument. A pass code can be generated for each transaction and sent to a user's personal communications device. When the correct pass code is received from the user, the transaction is then authorized.
