  • Publication number: 20130109201
Abstract: An electrical power connector includes an electrically insulative housing defining multiple front mating portions, a mating chamber in each mating portion for receiving one respective connection portion of a mating circuit board and two guide grooves in the mating chamber for guiding the respective connection portion of the mating circuit board into position, and pairs of conducting terminals respectively mounted in the mating chambers of the electrically insulative housing. Subject to the guiding of the guide grooves, the connection portions of the mating circuit board are kept in positive contact with respective front mating end portions of the conducting terminals to let the conducting terminals bear pressure evenly so that the operating conducting terminal impedance and temperature can be minimized, improving the reproducibility and reliability of the connector at the end of the circuit board and assuring a high level of power or signal transmission efficiency and safety.

  • Publication number: 20130052881
Abstract: In an electrical plug and socket connector assembly, each conducting terminal of each of the electrical plug connector and electrical socket connector defines two side panels spaced by a gap, a connection portion connected between one end of each of the two side panels, and two contact end portions respectively forwardly extended from respective opposite ends of the two side panels. Subject to the design of the connection portion, the contact end portions of each conducting terminal of the electrical plug connector can be kept in positive contact with the inner surfaces of the contact end portions and side panels of the mating conducting terminal of the mating electrical socket connector, lowering the impedance and temperature, smoothing conduction of power supply and assuring a high level of safety.

  • Publication number: 20130052879
Abstract: In an electrical plug and socket connector assembly, each conducting terminal of each of the electrical plug connector and electrical socket connector defines two side panels spaced by a gap, two contact end portions respectively forwardly extended from the two side panels, bonding pegs downwardly extended from the bottom edges of the side panels, and radiation fins respectively extended from the topmost edges of the side panels and suspending above the gap. Subject to the design of the gap and radiation fins, waste heat created during operation of the electrical plug and socket connectors can be quick dissipated into the atmosphere, lowering the temperature and smoothing conduction of power supply.

  • Patent number: 8215625
Abstract: A key blank selector has a base, a template and a clamp. The base defines a chamber and a platform having a recess communicating with the chamber. The template is soft and pliable corresponds to and is detachably mounted in the recess of the platform. The clamp is detachably mounted around the platform of the base to hold and position the template in the recess and has an opening formed corresponding to the chamber of the base. A mother key is positioned perpendicularly on and force applied to pierce through the template and form a figure corresponding to a cross sectional profile of the mother key in the template; therefore, facilitating key blank selection and preventing misjudgment.

  • Publication number: 20120141221
Abstract: A stroke controller is mounted on a key duplicator and has a base, a drive shaft, a knob and a driven shaft. The base has a longitudinal shaft hole and a transverse shaft hole. The drive shaft is mounted rotatably through the transverse shaft hole. The knob is mounted on the drive shaft and has a drive gear. The driven shaft is mounted slidably through the longitudinal shaft hole and has a rack section engaging the drive shaft so that rotating the knob drives the driven shaft to slide relative to the base. The stroke controller precisely controls the movement of an original key and a key workpiece clamped on the key duplicator to manufacture a fine key duplicate.

  • Publication number: 20100024342
Abstract: The present invention provides a retainer frame of an outdoor above ground pool, which includes a plurality of posts and a plurality of sets of beams, connected between pairs of adjacent posts to form a polygonal shaped retainer frame. Each beam has two end portions, and each post has one or more receiving ports for receiving the end portions of a set of beams. The retainer frame also includes a plurality of locking members for locking the end portions of the set of beams in the receiving ports of the corresponding post. The beams are capable of swinging around a longitudinal axis of the posts within a range of swinging motion so that the same components (posts, beams and locking members) can be used to form polygonal shaped retainer frames having different numbers of sides.

  • Publication number: 20090304076
Abstract: A memory arrangement method and system for AC/DC prediction in video compression applications based on parallel processing is disclosed. The method and system achieves optimum operating efficiency for data operation and reading based on parallel computing characteristics (Single Instruction Multiple Data (SIMD)) of an operation unit of the system. Additionally, the method transplants a VC-1 video compression system running in an operating system (the Windows operating system, for example) to a system platform using a digital signal processor (DSP) as an operation unit and implements a real-time VC-1 encoder according to parallel computing characteristics of a hardware core of the system platform.

  • Publication number: 20090008243
Abstract: A chlorine generator includes a main water channel for connecting to a pool and a subsidiary water channel connected between two points on the main water channel. A feed valve, a brine tank, a pump and an electrolytic tank are located on the subsidiary water channel. Salt is added into the brine tank and dissolved in water drawn in from the main water channel, and the high concentration saline solution is pumped from the brine tank into the electrolytic tank where chlorine is generated from the saline. The chlorinated solution from the electrolytic tank is then mixed with the water in the main water channel. A stirring device is provided at the bottom of the brine tank to stir the water therein to facilitate the generation of high concentration saline solution. Salt is electrolyzed without being dissolved into the swimming pool directly, thereby reducing harmful effects to swimmers.

  • Patent number: 7462675
Abstract: An improved elastomeric material is described comprising an essentially noncross-linkable amorphous copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoromethyl vinyl ether (PMVE) which is both a thermoplastic and exhibits exceptional mechanical properties. This material is particularly suitable for use in ultra-clean environments, and particularly for use in an implantable device, since it does not contain contaminants that previous thermoset TFE/PMVE copolymers have required. Among the improved properties of the present invention are excellent biocompatibility, high matrix tensile strength, high clarity, high abrasion resistance, high purity, adequate elasticity, and ease of processing due to the thermoplastic, and noncross-linkable structure of the copolymer. The material of the present invention is also a high strength bonding agent particularly suited for bonding porous PTFE to itself or to other porous substances at room or elevated temperatures.
