Abstract: A rolling wheel that moves more agile and at greater speed for a host object such as a skate is comprised of a ball roller, placed in a case and covered up with a casing lid to restrict the ball in the case, multiple holding wheel chambers provided on top of the case each accommodating a holding wheel; the ball roller when placed in the case maintaining a certain spacing with the case without contacting each other when held against by those multiple holding wheels by taking advantage of the directionless rolling of the ball roller.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a flexible display panel having an intermediate extended display section that interconnects a normal display end section fitted in a panel-mounting frame movable along an outer surface of a housing, and a coupling end section disposed in the housing, that extends through a vertical slot in the housing, and that is guided around a guide roller. The normal display end section of the display panel serves as a normal display area when the panel-mounting frame is positioned at a normal position by a positioning unit. The normal display end section and the intermediate extended display section serve as an enlarged display area when the panel-mounting frame is positioned at an extended position. A biasing unit biases the intermediate extended display section to move into the housing.

An optical fiber is provided to receive and transmit photo signal generated by a lighted wick, and to activate the light-generating devices to produce flickering light which may emanate through the candle for producing flickering and altering light effect around the candle.

Abstract: A wafer transfer method using a robot arm for sucking the front-side of the uppermost one of a plurality of wafers stored in a cassette, and for transferring the wafer having a tape adhered to the front-side thereof to a semiconductor tape-peeling device for tape-peeling. Although the wafer warps, the undesired effect that the robot arm crashes any of the wafers can be avoided by using this method.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for preventing the loss of a remote control input device used with a stationary device provides the stationary device with a transmitter and a signal generator that generates signals transmitted by the transmitter. The remote control input device communicates wirelessly with the stationary device, and has a wireless signal receiver that receives the signals from the signal generator, and a distance warning circuit. A distance warning output signal is produced by the distance warning circuit when the input device is beyond a specified distance from the stationary device, as a function of the signals received by the wireless signal receiver. The remote control input device also has an indicator that produces a human-perceptible distance warning signal in response to the production of the distance warning output signal by the distance warning circuit.
