The radiator component for a power semiconductor device includes a heat dissipation body including an inner-ring substrate, an outer-ring substrate, and a plurality of heat sinks. In an embodiment, the outer-ring substrate surrounds the inner-ring substrate and the plurality of heat sinks are arranged between the inner-ring substrate and the outer-ring substrate. One or more first power semiconductor device arrangement positions are provided on an inner circumferential surface of the inner-ring substrate and one or more second power semiconductor device arrangement positions are arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the outer-ring substrate. The radiator component further includes a fan component. The embodiments can save on space, reduce costs, improve the heat dissipation efficiency, and avoid the problem of disturbances between a plurality of fans.

The display may be configured to display virtual reality content for a user in which no real-world content from the camera is displayed or mixed reality content in which a combination of real-world content from the camera and overlaid virtual reality content is displayed. Control circuitry in the device may adjust the display and camera while transitioning between virtual reality and mixed reality modes. The control circuitry may reconfigure the camera to exhibit a desired frame rate immediately upon transitioning from virtual reality mode to mixed reality mode. Transitions between modes may be accompanied by smooth transitions between frame rates to avoid visible artifacts on the display. The camera frame rate may be synchronized to the display frame rate for at least part of the transition between the virtual reality and mixed reality modes.

    Abstract: An electronic device may have a display such as an organic light-emitting diode display. Electronic devices may also include a number of sensors such as accelerometers and gaze detection sensors. A graphics processing unit (GPU) may render digital pixel values for pixels in the device display. Frames (F2) with long rendering times may cause latency. To reduce latency, an image frame may be displayed for an extended period of time (68) to wait for the subsequent frame (F2) to finish rendering. Once the subsequent image frame (F2) has finished rendering, the subsequent image frame may be displayed without delay. To increase the lifespan of the display, variable persistence may be used. Sensor data and other factors may be used to dynamically determine persistence for minimal motion blur and maximum display lifespan. Sensor data may also be used to determine refresh rates for different portions of the display.

The adjustable lenses may be liquid crystal lenses. A camera and other sensors in the head-mounted device may monitor the eyes of the user and gather other information. Control circuitry in the head-mounted device may control the adjustable lenses based on measured characteristics of the eyes of the user such as interpupillary distance and direction-of-view. The control circuitry may match the distance between the centers of the adjustable lenses to the measured interpupillary distance and may align the lens centers with the measured direction-of-view. The adjustable lenses may have transparent electrodes that are supplied with time-varying control signals by the control circuitry.
