Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing unit, an electronic module and a locking mechanism. The housing unit includes a first housing and a second housing that is coupled detachably to the first housing. The locking mechanism includes an operable member and a drive member. The drive member can prevent movement of the second housing relative to the first housing. The operable member is operable to release the second housing from the drive member. When the drive member is moved to a position whereat the second housing is released, it can be maintained in the position, so that a user doesn't have to maintain the position of the drive member through operation of the operable member when separating the second housing from the first housing.

Abstract: Transdermal diffusion cell testing vessel includes a container defining a chamber having an opening against which skin is placed, and a casing arranged partially around and spaced apart from part of the container to define a compartment therebetween. The chamber retains a saline solution and is not in flow communication with the compartment through which water is circulated. The vessel includes separate inlet ports and outlet ports, each including a conduit communicating with the chamber or compartment. The outlet port of the chamber is angled downward relative to a horizontal upper surface of the container against which skin being tested is placed. The vessel is used for conducting transdermal diffusion cell testing in combination with a solution source fluidly coupled to each vessel, a waste receptacle fluidly coupled to each vessel, a syringe pump fluidly coupled to a respective vessel, and a sample collector fluidly coupled to the syringe pump(s).

Abstract: A stable and sterile adhesive composition with a controlled level of high viscosity is disclosed in the present invention. Adhesive compositions with different ranges of viscosity could be prepared by heating the adhesive monomer composition at mild temperature in the presence of pluronic polymer. The viscosity of the adhesive composition is able to be controlled to any desired level. A method of stabilizing the adhesive composition with a desired level of high viscosity is provided by using the combination of free radical and acid stabilizers. Methods for packaging, sterilizing and applying the adhesive in the medical field are also provided.

A method comprises displaying a plurality of objects on the touch screen, identifying a first free-form input on the touch screen overlying a first object of the plurality of objects, and identifying a second free-form input gesture on the touch screen overlying a second object of the plurality of objects. The first object and the second object are associated when the first free-form input and the second free-form input each substantially correspond to the same input gesture.

Abstract: A chip card holder used to hold a chip card comprises a housing having a slot defined therein for receiving the chip card therein, and an end wall, the housing including a latching portion extending from the end wall; a holder part slidably assembled in the slot of the housing; an elastic part resisted between the housing and the holder part. The holder part releasably latches to the latching portion, when the latching portion is removed from the holder part, the holder part slides away from the end wall under the expansion of elastic part and push the chip card out of the slot.

Abstract: A three-wheeled golf cart having collapsible mechanism to fold the cart down for storage and transport where the folding actions for the handle assembly and the lower assembly (containing front wheel) are connected, resulting in a single action collapsing when a user pushes a button release to allow the handle assembly to be detached away from the main upper assembly and a back push rod simultaneously fold up the front wheel. A swivel joint near the front wheel support arm allows the front wheel to be locked in two positions, at 90 degrees to each other, so that the collapsed golf cart has a smaller compact volume when the front wheel is turned 90 degree from its normal usage orientation.

Abstract: A security system and method for an electronic device include comparing data in a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card with data in a virtual SIM card, if the virtual SIM card is not blank. The security system further include determining whether the electronic device has received a command of reporting loss of the SIM card from the network server, if the data in the SIM card is the same as the data in the virtual SIM card. The security method further includes running the electronic device normally if the electronic device has not received the command of reporting loss of the SIM card. If the command of reporting loss is received, a contact list and message of the electronic device are deleted and a calling function of the electronic device is disabled.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are compounds that selectively inhibit members of the PTP family of enzymes. Synthesized compounds demonstrated selective inhibition of TC-PTP. Also provided are methods of using the compounds and formulations containing the compounds. Also described is a fluorescence-tagged combinatorial library synthesis and screening method. And methods of using these compounds to effect enzyme activity both in cells and in vitro as well as method of using these compounds to treat diseases in human and animals.
