  • Publication number: 20240303432
Abstract: There is provided a method for determining text blocks of a PDF text, including: acquiring information of characters of the PDF text; performing an initial division according to gap outliers of the PDF text in a transverse direction and a longitudinal direction, and adding block tags of first text blocks to the information of characters; sequentially processing inaccurate lines and inaccurate words in each first text block according to baselines of characters, character lengths, character spaces and character indexes; performing a baseline arrangement on lines of the PDF text; sequentially comparing two lines to form second text blocks; and sequentially comparing two second text blocks to identify whether to perform a secondary merging and a secondary division.

  • Publication number: 20240296272
Abstract: A method includes forming a transistor layer; forming a first metallization layer, including: forming first conductors, aligned along alpha tracks, and representing input pins of a cell region including first and second input pins; and cutting lengths of the first and second input pins to accommodate at most two access points, each aligned to a different one of first to fourth beta tracks, the beta tracks to which are aligned the access points of the first input pin being different than the beta tracks to which are aligned the access points of the second input pin; and forming a second metallization layer, including: forming second conductors representing routing segments and a representing a power grid segment aligned with one of the beta tracks of access points of the first input pin or the access points of the second input pin.

  • Patent number: 8479300
Abstract: A method for transmitting data and preventing unauthorized data duplication for human-machine interface device (HID) using Mass Storage Class (MSC) operating on Universal Serial Bus (USB) simulating the HID as an external USB storage device to make data connection to an external computer thus driver installation is not required when the operating system used by the external computer is not compatible with the operating used by the HID. The method encrypted the transmitted data via a dynamic password and does not write the data to the File Allocation Table (FAT) therefore the transmitted data is not under threat of unauthorized data duplication by a third party.

  • Patent number: 6138025
Abstract: A method for distributing paging load in a multicell wireless communication system establishes a plurality of location areas, with each location area including at least one cell. A load limit is based upon the greatest number of pages that may be transmitted in a particular cell over a given time period for cells of the multicell wireless communication system is determined. A paging load for the cellular wireless communication system is determined based upon historical loading and/or simulations and projections. A plurality of location areas are determined so that the paging load is distributed among the plurality of location areas such that a partial paging load respective to each cell of the multicell wireless communication system is less than a respective load limit. Boundaries of the location areas are then chosen to substantially minimize registration load within the multicell wireless communication system.

  • Patent number: 6094580
Abstract: Provided herein is a computer-implemented method for generating an optimized cellular-network cell-site plan for an area. A plurality of cellular-traffic demand nodes distributed across the area is provided. Each cellular-traffic demand node of the plurality of cellular-traffic demand nodes has an associated weighting characteristics set. The plurality of nodes are consolidated into a plurality of centroids. Each centroid represents a number of nodes that come within a traffic threshold. A potential cell site is positioned on each of the centroids. Each potential cell site has an associated base-transmitter-station parameter characteristics set. The demand node coverage of each potential cell site is determined with respect to a signal strength of the potential cell site. From the plurality of potential cell sites a minimized cell-site subset is selected while maintaining sufficient cellular service coverage of the plurality of demand nodes.

  • Patent number: 6085094
Abstract: A method for optimizing spectral re-use between an interferer digital phase modulated cellular system and a desirable analog phase modulated cellular system is disclosed wherein an optimal guard band to use with adjacent channel interference is determined, or an optimal guard zone to use with co-channel interference is determined. This is achieved by determining the effect of interference due to a digital phase modulated signal at the baseband of a desired analog phase modulated signal. By the use of this invention, the capacity of a desired system and/or the quality of a service provided by a desired system may be enhanced.
