Abstract: An optical fiber transmission device includes a substrate, a photonic integrated circuit, and an optical fiber assembly. The photonic integrated circuit is disposed on an area of the substrate. The substrate has a protruding structure at an interface with an edge of the photonic integrated circuit. The optical fiber assembly includes an optical fiber and a ferrule that sleeves the optical fiber. The protruding structure of the substrate is configured to abut against the ferrule to limit the position of the optical fiber assembly in a vertical direction of the substrate, such that the protruding structure is a stopper for the optical fiber assembly in the vertical direction.

Abstract: An optical fiber network device includes a fiber and a photonic integrated circuit. Fiber receives a first optical signal and transmits a second optical signal. A first wavelength of first optical signal is different from a second wavelength of second optical signal. Photonic integrated circuit includes a laser chip, a photodetector, a wavelength division multiplexing coupler, a first optical modulation element and a second optical modulation element. Laser chip is disposed on photonic integrated circuit, and is configured to generate first optical signal. Photodetector detects second optical signal. Wavelength division multiplexing coupler is configured to couple first optical signal to fiber, and receives second optical signal. First optical modulation element is coupled to wavelength division multiplexing coupler and laser chip, and is configured to modulate first optical signal.

The wheel housing has a spacer, with an upper ring housing and lower ring canopy extending upward and downward, respectively, along the perimeter of the spacer. The intermediate unit has the upper ring housing connected to the canopy of the connecting seat by a swivel snap structure. A bottom unit has a bottom impeller and bottom wheel housing, which has a water suction port, a bottom plate and a bottom ring housing that extends upward along the perimeter of the bottom plate. A bottom ring canopy of an intermediate unit is connected by a rotating snap structure, and the bottom ring housing is pressed by a sealing ring.

Abstract: A system for transferring narrow data includes a coordinator server, relay servers, a device and a client. The system executes a method for transferring narrow data. In the method, the device checks a list of existing relay servers with the coordinator server. The device picks some of the existing relay servers that respond thereto and provides a list of available relay servers to the coordinator server. The device periodically sends packets to the available relay servers to keep the connection to the available relay servers. The client inquires the coordinator server for the list of available relay servers to facilitate the client to connect to the device via at least one of the available relay servers.

Abstract: A remote information communication system comprises an administration server, at least one linking server and at least one remote device. The linking method of the remote information communication system comprises steps of: the administration server authenticating the remote device and linking server; the proximal device requesting the administration server to find out a specified remote device; the administration server responding an address of the linking server for establishing a link with the specified remote device; the proximal device linking with the linking server through the address responded from the administration server to find out the specified remote device via the linking server; and the linking server establishing a link between the proximal device and the specified remote device.

Abstract: A video storage system includes a security mechanism between a CVR unit and a CVR manager. The security mechanism provides public and private keys according to asymmetric cryptography. The public key is sent to the CVR manager. The CVR manager produces a plaintext of a video footage from an IP camera. The CVR manager produces and uses a random key according to symmetric cryptography to turn the plaintext of the video footage into an encrypted text, uses the public key to turn the random key into an encrypted text, and respectively sends the encrypted texts into video and key databases in the CVR unit. The encrypted texts can be received from the databases. The private key turns the encrypted text of the random key into the random key. The random key turns the encrypted text of the video footage into the plaintext.

Abstract: A video storage system includes a CVR manager including a software program of management run therein, at least two IP cameras connected to the CVR manager via the Internet; and at least two CVR units connected to the CVR manager via the Internet. The CVR manager assigns each of the CVR units to store a file of video data produced by a corresponding one of the IP cameras. Thus, the CVR manager distributes the video data produced by the cameras to the CVR units. Hence, the video storage system is inexpensive and highly expansible.

Abstract: A control interface card is constructed to include a bus controller connected to the CPU of a host computer, a data buffer adapted for registration of object position data computed by the CPU of the host computer, a position compare circuit adapted for fetching registered object position data from the data buffer and comparing the fetched object position data with feedback position data obtained from an object shifting control means, and then fetching a next registered object position data from the data buffer for a next comparison after matching of one comparison, and a trigger I/O circuit adapted for providing a triggering signal to the CPU of the host computer upon matching of one comparison at the position compare circuit.
