    Abstract: A structure and a method of forming are provided. The structure includes a first dielectric layer overlying a first substrate. A first connection pad is disposed in a top surface of the first dielectric layer and contacts a first redistribution line. A first dummy pad is disposed in the top surface of the first dielectric layer, the first dummy pad contacting the first redistribution line. A second dielectric layer overlies a second substrate. A second connection pad and a second dummy pad are disposed in the top surface of the second dielectric layer, the second connection pad bonded to the first connection pad, and the first dummy pad positioned in a manner that is offset from the second dummy pad so that the first dummy pad and the second dummy pad do not contact each other.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a wafer edge trimming apparatus that includes a processing chamber defined by chamber housing. Within the processing chamber is a wafer chuck configured to hold onto a wafer structure. Further, a blade is arranged near an edge of the wafer chuck and configured to remove an edge potion of the wafer structure and to define a new sidewall of the wafer structure. A laser sensor apparatus is configured to direct a laser beam directed toward a top surface of the wafer chuck. The laser sensor apparatus is configured to measure a parameter of an analysis area of the wafer structure. Control circuitry is to the laser sensor apparatus and the blade. The control circuitry is configured to start a damage prevention process when the parameter deviates from a predetermined threshold value by at least a predetermined shift value.

A detecting device generates a default position signal when the lamp unit is at the default position. A control device is operable to control the drive unit for restoring the lamp unit to the default position with reference to the default position signal, and for moving the lamp unit according to angular displacement of a vehicle steering linkage system.

    Abstract: A system for detecting the burn degree of skin includes a laser source for generating laser light, a light-splitting device for splitting the laser light into a pump beam and a probe beam, a modulation device positioned on the optical path of the pump beam, a sampling device positioned between the light-splitting device and the modulation device, a terahertz pulse emitter for generating terahertz pulses by irradiating of the pump beam, a terahertz pulse detector for detecting the terahertz pulse reflected by a sample, a current detector electrically connected to the terahertz pulse detector, and a phase lock-in amplifier electrically connected to the current detector. The terahertz pulse emitter includes a plurality of photoconductive antennas positioned in an array manner, and the system further includes a first fiber coupler for transmitting the pump beam from the modulation device to the photoconductive antennas of the terahertz pulse emitter.

    Abstract: A method of linkage with springs mold is provided to simulate the condition of forces acting on a bonding wire for semiconductor package. The bonding wire profile can be formed by means of combining several sets of linkage with springs, wherein the coefficients of elasticity and plasticity of the springs are determined by the bending angle of two linkages which simulates the elastic-plastic deformation of the wires. The operational model can be simplified and the time can be saved by using the multiple degrees of freedom of the links/springs to analyze the profile and forces on the fine wire. Necking and fracture during formation process of the bonding wire can be avoided by the present method and design to achieve the optimum design for wire bonding profiles.
