  • Publication number: 20110007024
Abstract: The present invention relates to a whiteboard and method for orientation thereof, and particularly relates to an electromagnetic-and-interactive whiteboard with a battery-free pointer device and method of the electromagnetic-and-interactive whiteboard for finding the position of the battery-free pointer device. A plurality of signal handling devices are provided in the whiteboard for controlling the antenna boards of the whiteboard to emit electromagnetic power respectively. By this way, the antenna boards do not interfered with each other and the battery-free pointer device can be located precisely without deviation. Furthermore, the electromagnetic power provided by the antenna boards is applied to instead of a battery in battery-free pointer device for providing the power to the battery-free pointer device. The electromagnetic power provided by the antenna boards is used to be the power of the battery-free pointer device for emitting electromagnetic signals.
