  • Patent number: 9036240
Abstract: The disclosure provides an electronic paper display. The electronic paper display includes an electronic paper panel. A light guide plate is disposed on the electronic paper panel. The light guide plate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A conductive pattern structural layer is disposed on the light guide plate. A light source is disposed on a side of the light guide plate. The first surface of the light guide plate is a patterned surface. A light generated by the light source is reflected or scattered to the electronic paper panel by the patterned surface.

  • Patent number: 8967847
Abstract: An illumination assembly is adapted to illuminate a display module that is visible by reflecting environmental lights. The illumination assembly includes a substrate, a visual-light source, and a light guide. The substrate includes a top surface. The visual-light source is disposed on the top surface and is provided for emitting a visual light. The light guide is disposed corresponding to the top surface of the substrate. The light guide includes a light-incidence surface and a light-emergence surface. The visual light enters the light guide through the light-incidence surface and is reflected at least once. The visual light then exits the light guide through the light-emergence surface and travels along a light-emergence direction.

  • Patent number: 8847921
Abstract: An electronic device with an invisible light touch panel is disclosed in the present invention. The electronic device includes a circuit board, a visible light source, a light guiding plate, a panel and a cover. The circuit board includes a plurality of invisible light emitters and receivers. The light guiding plate includes an active area and an inactive area. The invisible light outputted from the invisible light emitter transmits to the invisible light receiver via the active area, and the visible light outputted from the visible light source can transmit to the inactive area. The cover is disposed above the light guiding plate. A hole is formed on a surface of the cover, and a position of the hole corresponds to the inactive area on the light guiding plate, so the visible light outputted from the visible light source passes through the cover via the inactive area and the hole.
