  • Patent number: 7833058
Abstract: A micro plug connector has an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals, a pair of positioning hooks and a metal shell. The insulative housing has a base and a tongue protruding from the base. The terminals and positioning hooks are mounted through the base into the tongue. The metal shell covers the insulative housing and has a front cover and a rear cover. The front cover is mounted around the tongue and has a connecting plate protruding from the front cover and partially covering the bottom of the base. The rear cover formed on the front cover and covers the base and the connecting plate of the front cover. The front and rear covers double cover the insulative housing to strengthen the structures of the micro plug connector and prevent inadvertent disassembly or failure of the micro plug connector.

  • Patent number: 7534146
Abstract: An audio jack is embedded in an open mounting slot of a printed circuit board (PCB). The open mounting slot has two opposite inside surfaces. The audio jack has an insulative housing and two sets of terminals. The total thickness of the PCB with the audio jack embedded therein is less than a sum of the thicknesses of the PCB and the audio jack so that the PCB with the audio jack may be applied conveniently to compact electronic devices.

  • Patent number: 7484965
Abstract: A coaxial connector has a hollow shell, an insulative housing, a contact terminal and a stopper. The hollow shell has at least one engaging hole. The insulative housing is mounted in the hollow shell and has at least one hook protruding through the engaging hole to securely connect the insulative housing to the hollow shell. The contact terminal is mounted in the insulative housing and has a body portion and a soldering portion extending out of the insulative housing. The stopper is mounted on the body portion and engaged with the insulative housing to avoid a disconnection between the contact terminal and the insulative housing.
