The modified ZGC nanocubes produce long lasting luminescence (LLL) that lasts for at least 1.5 hours under X-ray or UV excitation. Also disclosed herein are methods for the preparation of the modified ZGC nanocubes; and methods for imaging an area of interest (e.g., cancer) in a live subject using the modified ZGC nanocubes as an imaging agent.

    Abstract: A pulse controlled charging method for higher temperature charging in addition to the current-reducing operation at ambient temperature. A specific software control strategy for these purposes is proposed, which can be divided into two parts, (a) two-stage charging current control at ambient temperature, which sets different current-limiting transient points for chargers with different outputs; (b) high-temperature pulse charging, which utilizes an internal NTC (Negative temperature coefficient) thermistor inside the charger to detect the internal temperature of the charger, if the temperature exceeds a pre-determined value, the charging process will be stopped for a period of time to avoid the temperature of the charger becoming too high.

    Abstract: A method for generating images with high dynamic range (HDR) based on multiple images captured at different aperture values, under different conditions, or at different shutter speeds is applied in a device. The method inputs the original multiple images into a predetermined model and aligns the multiple images. The method further confirms object images that need to be attended among multiple aligned images and obtains a merge weighting for each of the object images, and merges the images for a generated HDR according to the merge weighting of each image. The device utilizing the method is also disclosed.
