Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for determining whether a subject has or is at risk of developing colorectal cancer with an ex vivo biological sample isolated from the subject. The method comprises: determining the levels of at least two target proteins with the aid of mass spectrometry, in which the at least two target proteins are selected from the group consisting of ADAM10, CD59, and TSPAN9; and assessing whether the subject has or is at risk of developing the colorectal cancer based on the levels of the at least two target proteins. The present method may serve as a potential means for diagnosing and predicting the incidence of colorectal cancer, and the subject in need thereof could receive a suitable therapeutic regimen in time in accordance with the diagnostic results produced by the present method.

Photonic integrated circuit includes a laser chip, a photodetector, a wavelength division multiplexing coupler, a first optical modulation element and a second optical modulation element. Laser chip is disposed on photonic integrated circuit, and is configured to generate first optical signal. Photodetector detects second optical signal. Wavelength division multiplexing coupler is configured to couple first optical signal to fiber, and receives second optical signal. First optical modulation element is coupled to wavelength division multiplexing coupler and laser chip, and is configured to modulate first optical signal.

Abstract: An optical fiber transmission device includes a substrate, a photonic integrated circuit, and an optical fiber assembly. The photonic integrated circuit is disposed on an area of the substrate. The substrate has a protruding structure at an interface with an edge of the photonic integrated circuit. The optical fiber assembly includes an optical fiber and a ferrule that sleeves the optical fiber. The protruding structure of the substrate is configured to abut against the ferrule to limit the position of the optical fiber assembly in a vertical direction of the substrate, such that the protruding structure is a stopper for the optical fiber assembly in the vertical direction.

Abstract: An AC adapter connected to an external AC power includes a main body, an input plug, a transforming and rectifying circuit, and a connecting cable. The overload protection circuit is electrically connected to the input plug for inputting AC power and preventing a circuit from having a load with a large current. The external AC power socket is connected to the overload protection circuit for outputting a stable AC power, and connected to an external power connector for supplying AC power. With the feature of the AC adapter being connected to an output of an external expanded AC power, several adapters can be stacked with each other and connected to the external AC power, without occupying the position of an insert slot, while providing an application of connecting several adapters to an external AC power.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a battery charger base which is a structure having several battery charges stacked with each other and connected to an external AC power. The battery charger base does not occupy an insert hole of a socket, while providing an application of connecting several battery chargers to an external AC power. In the battery charger base, a main body of the charger includes an input plug, a charge rectification circuit, a charge slot, an overload protection circuit and an external AC power socket. The charge circuit is electrically connected to the input plug for inputting an AC power and preventing the circuit from having a load of a large current. The external AC power socket is electrically connected to the overload protection circuit for outputting a stable AC power.

Abstract: A positioning structure for a pivotal shaft comprises a positioning device for use in the pivotal shaft. The positioning structure is located between a base and a lid of an electronic product, wherein an inner sleeve is pivotally connected to an outer sleeve through an elastic device. The positioning device is composed of a rotation ring and a ring cover. A toothed ring is mounted on each side of the rotation ring, and a limit block is protrudent from the edge of the rotation ring. The ring cover has a locking trench, and the toothed rings are inserted into the locking trench. The elastic device is pre-rotated. When the push-button switch is separated from the buttonhole by pressing, the lid is lifted up by the anti-twist force and the lower edge of the lid is exactly stopped by the limit block for positioning the lid to a predetermined angle automatically.

Abstract: A battery charger comprises a charging base having an output jacket, an input jacket, and a plurality of battery slots; and a solar panel attached to the charging base above the battery slots via a cover, wherein a pivotal rotation device is connectedly mounted between the solar panel and the cover such that the solar panel is liftable and foldable to various angles. Therefore, the rechargeable batteries can be charged by the indoor commercial electric power or the outdoor solar power for achieving the purposes of saving energy resources and providing the convenience to outdoor use. Meanwhile, the secondary environmental pollution can be avoided for fulfilling the requirement of environmental protection and bringing the best economic benefits.

Abstract: A portable wireless audio-visual transmitting/receiving device is designed for wirelessly receiving and showing (monitoring) audio-visual programs. The transmitting/receiving device comprises a transmitter, a receiver, and a remote control, wherein the transmitting/receiving device can be integrated into the DVD player by wireless transmission. Besides, the image-showing function of LCD monitor can be used for showing CATV programs and images/sounds captured by the wireless video camera in addition to showing the DVD such that the purposes of taking care of children, aged persons, and patients and safety monitoring can be achieved. In addition, the transmitting/receiving device can be portably carried for showing any programs anywhere, anytime as long as it is located within the effective distance.

Abstract: An integrated multipurpose audio-visual optical disk drive comprises a main machine and a monitor, wherein the main machine comprises a hinge mounted thereon for pivotally connecting the main machine with the monitor so as to enable the monitor to be rotated in various angles. A plurality of control buttons, a plurality of slots, an optical disk receiving opening are formed on a lateral portion and a front surface of the available space of the main machine. The audio-visual optical disk can be carried and used alone by integrating the monitor into the main machine so as to overcome the drawbacks of the conventional structure, which is not workable when the conventional main machine is disassembled. Moreover, every controlling device is mounted on the main machine of the present invention such that the operator is capable of self-controlling and self-adjusting his favorite channels.

Abstract: A sedan roof sucked LCD monitor holder mainly comprises a holder and a swing door. The holder is normally sucked on the sedan roof providing accommodation to hold the DVD and VCD monitor.
