    Abstract: The present invention discloses a cartridge and a detection method for the same. The cartridge comprises an outer frame and barriers located inside the outer frame. The cartridge further comprises a detection device. The detection device comprises a sensing device configured to sense the barriers so as to acquire sensed information, and a first information processing device configured to judge whether the positions of the barriers are correct according to the sensed information. For the cartridge provided by the present invention, whether barriers are located at correct positions and thus whether the loading size of the cartridge is matched with the size of a substrate to be loaded can be effectively detected, so that the damage to the substrate during loading of the substrate is effectively avoided and it is ensured that the substrate can be safely loaded into the cartridge.
