Abstract: An addition compound, prepared by reacting a) one or more polyisocyanates having an average functionality of 2-6; b) one or more compounds comprising at least one chain selected from the group consisting of polyester, polyether, polyacrylate, polyurethane, polyolefin and a combination thereof; and at least one isocyanate reactive group, wherein the at least one isocyanate reactive group is an amino group; and c) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of N-(3-aminopropyl) imidazole (API), benzoguanamine (BGA) and N-(2-aminoethyl) piperazine (AEP). The addition compound is suitable as dispersant or anti-sedimentation agent, especially for pigments, fillers and matting agents.
