The physical quantity, for example, may be a current through a light emitting device, brightness of the light emitting device, or the like. When the average value is beyond a preset parameter range, a value of the voltage which is input to the light emitting device is adjusted, so that the current through the light emitting device is adjusted, and brightness of the backlight is adjusted.
