    Abstract: The present application provides an electrode assembly and a processing method and apparatus therefor, a battery cell, a battery, and a power consuming device. The electrode assembly includes: a cathode plate, an anode plate, and a separator, where the separator is configured to separate the cathode plate from the anode plate, a closed-pore portion is provided in part of the region of the separator, and the closed-pore portion is configured to block at least some ions de-intercalated from the cathode plate located on one side of the closed-pore portion from being intercalated into the anode plate located on the other side of the closed-pore portion. Heating the separator to form the closed-pore portion can reduce the occurrence of lithium precipitation.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a battery cell manufacturing device and method. The battery cell comprises an electrode sheet and a separator. The electrode sheet has a free end in its own extension direction. The battery cell manufacturing device includes a winding pin and a lamination assembly. The winding pin is configured to wind the electrode sheet and separator into a battery cell. The lamination assembly is disposed upstream of the winding pin, and configured to connect the free end of the electrode sheet to the separator. The battery cell manufacturing device and method provided in the embodiments of the present application solve the problem that the free end of the electrode sheet is prone to shift relative to the separator during the battery cell production process, thus ensuring the safety of the battery cell produced.

    Abstract: There is provided a composite separator for a lithium-ion battery, including a polyolefin substrate and a coating layer containing a binder and inorganic particles formed on a surface of the polyolefin substrate, a hydrogen bond being formed between the binder and the inorganic particles. Also provided are a method for preparing the composite separator for a lithium-ion battery and a lithium-ion battery using the composite separator. The composite separator of the present application increases adhesion force between the substrate and the inorganic particles, thereby reducing detachment of the inorganic particles. By using the composite separator, the product quality of the battery is improved, and the risk of influencing the safety performance of the battery caused by the detachment of the inorganic particles in a production process is reduced.

The preparation method of the lithium-rich electrode plate of the lithium-ion battery comprises steps of: (1) in a protective gas environment, melting a lithium ingot to obtain a melting lithium; (2) in a vacuum environment, heating and drying ceramic particles to obtain dried and anhydrous ceramic particles; (3) in a protective gas environment, adding the dried and anhydrous ceramic particles into the melting lithium, stirring to make them uniformly mixed to obtain a modified melting lithium; (4) in a protective gas environment, uniformly coating the modified melting lithium on a surface of an electrode plate to be lithium rich to form a lithium-rich layer, which is followed by cooling to room temperature to obtain a lithium-rich electrode plate of a lithium-ion battery. The lithium-rich electrode plate is prepared according to the preparation method.
